No way I'm trading the #2 pick for a huge contract on players that can't even see the court. Would be something the Hornets would do though.

I hate how our pro athletes in the NBA try to bait those fake foul calls. It's 100% some beta mentality to resort to cheating to win games. It's soft and the league should really bring the hammer down on that nonsense. This is supposed to be the best basketball players in the world...

Did Cody even play 10 games last year?
-
Why is there even a lottery in the first place for the NBA? Why not just let the worst team in the NBA get the first pick. Almost seems like there is a lottery so they can manipulate it.

DSJ no where near the caliber of Scoot and he is also 18. Dennis is going on 25 and while I was impressed with him here, I don't think he is a quality starter. I am cool with Miller coming here but I just see Scoot becoming a franchise player alongside Lamelo. DSJ also was only on a 1 yr contract and was playing for peanuts so I don't see us resigning him unless he doesn't ask for a lot of money.

I mean we cant draft Wemby lmao. Only bad highlights are him going after Wemby and getting blocked and you would expect that with a foot and a half difference lol. He kept going after him too. The dude has that dog mentality that you want in the NBA. I don't see his play not translating to the NBA. You keep bringing up Miller scoring 41 against the Gamecocks lmao. Like come on dude. Gamecocks have been trash at basketball since Renaldo Balkman left. I feel like G League games are way more meaningful than NCAA.

Don't need to hear about how the league is 3pt shooting centric. Next, yall will be talking about how the league is driven by Centers because of Jokic. If I'm the Hornets, I'm taking Scoot 100% because he is the best pick available. He will open up everyone on the team. Once Bridges wasn't on the team and Lamelo injured , everyone just sat at the 3 point line and shot contested shots. If you can watch this and say Scoot shouldn't be the pick, I don't know what to tell you.

Interesting point from Hornets Reddit We were 6th in 3 pt shooting in the 2021-2022 season. Then we lost bridges and we ended up a bottom 5 3 pt shooting team this past season. All because we lost our main inside scoring threat who opened up the floor and all we have are guys who can just camp the 3 pt line. If we really do lose Bridges for good, do we want to add Miller where all of our guys will just sit at the 3 pt line?

And about the gun scene, I will say the optics don't look good for Miller. But he was cleared and that's all we can really go on since we know nothing about his personal life. Can't really put him in the same situation with Miles as he was caught red-handed. Also, can't really tie the players to a gang organization when they were basketball team mates coming from different states. We can theorize all day about what may or may not have happened but we have to go by the facts from the police and that is that he's cleared. I'm good with either Scoot or Miller on the team next year.

He only has one season in the G-League. I think he is 50% on midrange jumpers and below 30% on 3 point shots but he doesn't take many 3 point shots. His best attribute is his explosiveness and getting to the rim like Melo. He just looks like a superstar guard and has that IT factor. When you are top 3 in the draft, you take BPA which is Scoot.
-
If I'm the GM of Hornets, I'm not passing up on the freak explosive guard for a Michael Porter Jr. Scoot still has 6'9" Wingspan for all you height and reach lovers.
-
He can't drive like Scoot lmao. Scoot looks like gets shot out of a canyon and throws it down on anyone in his way. He reminds me of Bridges as a point guard
-
Scoot is crazy explosive and hits the hole hard. Only downside I hear about him is he can't shoot. I feel like he is the better pick but Miller would be the best fit for the team. Honestly, Scoot looks like HOF Point Guard. Hard to pass on him in my opinion. I feel like we can get a shooter in free agency.
-
Hahaha heck no man you would rather be at 4? Hornets would be selecting Gradey Dick or trading the pick away for Westbrook
-
I think he was cleared that he had no connection other than selling his team mate a gun. Can't really fault him for a stupid decision someone else did.
-
How we get hosed? We moved up a spot and got a choice between Miller and Scoot.
-
Why would you trade Melo though? Scoot and Melo together will be insane

Another one falls into the trap that is Sam Darnold
Cam Lawter replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
I can definitely agree with you on performing under pressure but Purdy was also behind a Top 10 Line in both pass-blocking and run-blocking. I don't think Darnold will look like a superstar over there but he definitely will look better than he did in Carolina. -

Purdy brought the 49ers to the Conference Championship. I think Darnold will thrive with their organization and I think he is leagues above Purdy. He was always behind a trash O-Line with mediocre coaches. If anyone will turn around Darnold, it will be Shanahan -
You talking about that dude that always says to show some love to his cash app lol what a grifter

Cam Lawter replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Gonna be funny it turns out he was posting about his relationships etc. and the football nuts turned it into a conspiracy -
If I'm not mistaken we traded our 145 pick to get DJ Johnson

Round 3 - The Carolina Panthers Select DJ Johnson - EDGE - Oregon
Cam Lawter replied to rodeo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Mingo wasn't a reach. You will be in for a suprise. This one is a little bit of a head scratcher but its end of 3rd round. It's not that big of a deal. -
Feels like a shot at a miracle to strike gold so we can trade burns for those 2 1st round draft picks
