I don't believe in those after Young or Stroud is the problem. As I understand it next years QBs are better than the class this year. I see Levis as another Mayfield an Richard as a younger cam.

Hate it. Build up the Oline and Defensive line with the 4 pics we have in the first 3 rounds. I know San Fran 2rd, 3rd and 4th will be like a top 3rd and 4th and 5th round picks but that is 7 picks with the top pick in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th rounds we can have. We can get some fine players to build depth on the team that we need. Remember we invested a 3rd round pick in Corral last year. No reason to trade up. Give Sam a 2 year deal with the 1st year money guaranteed and look to next year QB for our franchise pick.

Rather see Eric Bieniemy as the next coach and draft Richardson out of Florida in the later rounds as my QB pick. Give Bienimy the chance to improve his throwing ability and give him a year or two to learn since he is has the arm strength and as mobile as Mahomes.

Yes Sam would be a good back up if we had a good QB ready to go next year. Afraid Corral wasn't the best QB in the 3rd round the Panthers could have picked.

nice article. Today we saw old Sam return. He still has happy feet when DL's get around him and really with the O Lines he had in NY and his first season him who could blame him. If his OL can protect him and give him clean pockets, I would say yes for a year or two and just a tad over minimum.

just think that Montana wasn't drafted until the 3rd round. Brady not till the 6th or round. Mahomes wasn't drafted until the 14th pick. Allen was drafted at the 7th pick by Buffalo. So you can get a good QB after the 1st round. Remember Montana was too small to be drafted sooner.

I know Darnold is not the guy, He can make the spectacular play one minute, but scrambling is not his game and if he gets happy feet he is going down.

Are there any Juniors who might be coming out who would be ready, or do we keep PJ as a starter for one more year, keep Baker or Sam for another year as a backups, and let Corral have another year of being 3rd string and gaining maturity he did not show this past summer.

It was a great game. The team fought all day and we had chances to put them away but mistakes hurts us especially the last kick we had to win the game. Silly mistakes young teams make, but we could have won the game. It is life but I enjoyed the grit and termination this team left on the field.

You can always get a good pass rusher with those picks, or even two of them with one of those picks and one outside the first round.
