You are normally not a rich famous athlete/celeb. Once one comes out (real or fake) it can light the idea and opportunity for others to throw their name in the hat for some reward as well. More the better.

Is it possible DW sexually harassed and or assaulted all the women? Yes Is it possible DW sexually harassed and or assaulted some of the women? Yes Is it possible all the women are lying and or exaggerating the story looking for a payday? Yes Right now, no one knows for sure what actually happened except DW and the women making these claims.

How would anyone know it was completely fabricated? Surely they wouldn't be dumb enough to discuss that in areas where they can be recorded/screenshot. Assuming the mastermind had an ounce of intelligence and the plaintiffs were able to keep their mouth shut, there wouldn't be anyway to know or verify.

Hard AF to prove. One of these woman will have needed to secretely record DW saying these things. Or have him on record admit it after in text, phone call or in person. If there is proof he did it to one, then I would lean towards believing it wasn't an isolated incident.

I think most reasonable people would be fine with shutting a player down until all criminal proceedings take place. And if guilty would be fine with releasing a player or dealing some sort of suspension or even banning if it's severe enough.

I doubt there will be any way for any of US to know if these allegations are or aren't true. This is most likely he said she said. Unless Watson is tried and convicted in a criminal court, I would welcome him here. He is going to be playing for some team in 2 years (assuming this stays civil) and I can guarantee their fan base wont be complaining or wanting to cut him.

Mr Scot, There is nothing ridiculous about 1) Not claiming anyone is guilty or a liar without cold hard proof. (fyi, this is diff than simply having an opinion/belief) 2) Waiting for all the evidence is presented to form a conclusive belief/opinion. 3) Not wanting innocent people to go to jail and to have their names / reputation ruined. 4) Recommending people of crimes to report it to the proper authorities asap. If a person thinks waiting to report a crime HELPS the police or their cause, they are flat WRONG. Not about me knowing what's best or knowing better. I am speaking facts. Hopefully you will learn. Although, I am not gonna hold my breathe.

So you like to put words in people's mouth as well i see. I was clearly talking about "being sure" of something. Not simple belief / opinion. Belief / Opinion is subjective. Each person requires different things for believe / opinions. It is not a statement of fact. You are part of the problem. You are the reason why innocent people are jailed and have their name, reputation and even life (finances) ruined.

Talking to victims doesn't change the facts 1) Waiting to report will only decrease the chance the criminal is brought to justice as it hinders the investigation. 2) Waiting to report doesn't help in the eye's of public opinion. 3) Only filing a civil suit doesn't help in the eyes of public opinion. None of this means the person is lying or wasn't sexually assaulted. None of this means we should not be supportive and comfort the alleged victims.

I would go off the evidence available. I would not convict anyone on some he said she said. Gotta be something more. There is an old saying. Goes like i'd rather 100 criminals walk free than convict and imprison 1 innocent man.

There is a difference between believing something and being sure of something.

Please inform us how you can be sure of sexual assault if 1) You were not present to actually see or hear said incident. 2) You have seen no video of said incident. 3) You have heard no audio of said incident. 4) You have seen or heard no confession of said incident. #goesandgrabspopcorn

Unless you were there or there was video or audio evidence or a confession, no one should tell a alleged victim they are lying or tell the accused they are guilty. At best we can only have opinions.

We are deep into cancel culture / metoo. These women would have been A OK had they came forward earlier to police. As that looks better than waiting and going civil.

You seem to be confused. I am hoping you are young. This isn't rocket science. No one should claim someone is believable or not before seeing/hearing all the evidence. Then after hearing all the available evidence, can you form your own personal opinion on what happen. Which doesn't mean you are right or know what actually happen. However, that doesn't change the fact when and how you report it will affect people's perceptions. I, like most, would be more predisposition, to believe someone who immediately goes to police with bruising and signs of sexual trauma vs someone who comes forward years later with a civil suit.

Actually, average Joe blows have nothing to give the victims. I'd be more motivated to go public vs a rich famous person vs some nobody. Yea OK. I am going to advise ANYONE who is sexually assaulted to go to the police right away to try to bring justice and stop the criminal so they can't hurt others.
