So which LT do you want us to draft tomorrow in round 2?

i dont see Barmore dropping that far. if he does, yea we might have to make that pick and put him beside brown. if barmore reaches his potential, that is a nasty DT combo -

I could live with Grant in the 2nd and Radunz/Christensen in the 3rd. -

Christensen had an insane blocking rating and will def be there. Radunz was best OT at senior bowl and will likely be there. There will be a decent LT for us to take in round 2. -

Very unlikely we are trading back into the 1st, so it's safe to assume we are done for today. I am firmly thinking about tomorrow art this point. -
Looking at how the board has fallen, it's clear they didn't see any trade back option that still netted them a guy they wanted in the first. Take the best defensive player in the draft in that situation. I am usually against CBs in the 1st but we already have good young DE, DT and LB/S.

Horn nor Surtain would have lasted if we traded down. The staff must feel good about LT prospects in the 2nd. After initial WTF, I am feeling better about the pick. I think we will pick 3 OL the rest of the way. I would like Radunz, BYU LT, Little in the 2nd. Then a LG in the 3rd.
-
if we take fields in the 1st, we better take LT in the 2nd. walker little hopefully then a LG in the 3rd
-
Nope. If Joe turns Brady into an awesome QB, Fields is getting traded. Facts.

The “Deep OT class” may not be as deep at LT in scouts eyes

the guy that intrigues me the most is Little. Good size and movement. assuming he is fully recovered, he could be a big steal -
OP that is not the type of QB bill wants.

1st Round Draft Pick for the Panthers
Agent Blue replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
is Surtain a better prospect than Okuda? Rarely do CBs change franchises. Only QBs really change franchises. -
Bill doesn't move up generally. He is usually moving back and acquiring assets.

daniel jeremiah, who has a solid track record of predicting OL players has slater above sewell.
-
massive difference in position value. a good LT is just better than a great WR.
-
that just said our OT were weak spot. you can't have a weak spot on your line. everyone needs to be atleast average and competent.
-
Realistic one
-
Our OT were trash. Where are you getting top 2 ranked OL? Source and context? Top 2 in what? Run block? Pass block? Combined? Etc
-
An above average competent OT/C/OG (esp OT) is more valuable than a good / great WR. We literally have ONE competent OL player on our roster.......
-
pretty simple. sewell or slater at 8 assuming no QB you think is a franchise qb is left on the board. if sewell, slater and no QBs you like are there you consider trade back options. If no trade back options are great you draft the best player ie pitts, suritan, chase, horn, etc
-
not a chance in hell we draft a WR at 8 with our crappy OL and already having Moore and Robby. i mean, maybe if Chase was some 6'5 Megatron clone, but he aint.
