Pass was good, if Kirkwood doesn't juggle the ball he has a chance to dodge the hit

How much playing time will Matt Corral get on Saturday?
Hugo replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Matt Corral is not the starter brother, he will be our 3rd QB on the depth chart, which is exactly the kind of player you put out there in preseason. -
How much playing time will Matt Corral get on Saturday?
Hugo replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Why would we waste snaps from a preseason game on a QB we know pretty much for sure will not make the team. PJ is a good dude and he has the talent to be a backup somewhere else but just not with us right now. Also, if there is a good time to give Corral snaps, it's preseason. He won't drown, he'll welcome the challenge. -
This kid is leagues above Will Grier when we drafted him. He’ll be good for us.

People forget what he did for the Browns in the 2020-21 season. He won them a playoff game. He had a 5TD game. Last offseason, he was viewed as a fringe top 10-12 QB in the NFL. This year, well he was hurt for a good part of the season and still played. He is not in the same league as Sam Darnold. This is the best the Panthers can do and I’m all for it.

CMC is giving us a 3.5 at RB. It just shows that without him we are a very bad football team

I love this team

As much as we like to bash our HC and our owner, Scott Fitterer, Samir Suleiman and Dan Morgan KNOW how to run a team the right way. We are in good hands.

One man who went under the radar this past season is Nixon. He looked really good for a rookie out there. He needs more snaps.

Matt Ioannidis is signing with the Carolina Panthers, per source
Hugo replied to SgtJoo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Matt Ioannidis is a huge upgrade over Daquan Jones. He's 2 years younger and is a better pass rusher. Both DI tend to struggle sometimes on running plays but on 3rd downs and passing play we just improved a lot. Love this signing. -
Havn't followed recent updates for the DW trade. Are we really currently out? Recent reports have the Saints probably going for Jameis next year. The Falcons have to pay Matty Ice next year and the trade simply does not make sense for them. Browns have been confirmed out, but nothing about the Panthers.

The Texans would never trade Deshaun to a divisional rival. If Watson is playing next year, it will be for the Panthers, Seahawks or Buccaneers. We also have a the better draft pick. If we want Willis, he's ours.

Everything we do looks so difficult smh

Panthers taking offers for Cmac in the off-season
Hugo replied to Leotiger's topic in Carolina Panthers
Would be a massive mistake to trade basically player on the roster who shows heart and is a leader week in week out. His injuries are soft tissue related. He is not injury prone. Rhule is just clueless and doesn't know how to use him. -
I would agree, CMC vs Deshaun without allegations, I would do it in a heartbeat. But the fact that he hasn't been here for the past game and we havn't done jacksh*it during those four games just prove my point. We are 3-0 with him, 0-4 without him. During the past few games, you can clearly see a lack of effort from DJ and Robby. I don't care who is your QB, when you get paid millions, you have got to show up and play. You will never see a moment where CMC gives up on a play. We need more players like him.
-
So your trade the player that has the best work ethic on the team, who is also the #1 leader for a guy who has allegations?! This would be a major shift in terms of locker room chemistry, and one that we should not make. If we're getting Deshaun, we need CMC. DJ Moore is not a leader. We lack massive leadership on offense. Also, about those injuries. It's too soon to call CMC injury prone. It's not too soon to say that this coaching staff is clueless when it comes to preventing injuries though. The strain could have been avoided.

The only way we keep all 6 is if one of them accepts a FS role. Won't be Jaycee or Gilmore, they're CB 1 and 2. Now between the other 4, my first guess would be CJ Henderson. Donte is too good of a CB to risk a change of position. Bouye and Taylor are ridiculous CB depth.
-
Sure, trade the only special player on the team. We need more players like Robby and Darnold on offense.

8th pick : Penei Sewell 20-25th pick in the first round (with a trade up): Caleb Farley

First off, no one here is a better talent evaluator than Rhule and Fitterer, so lets pump the breaks and stop acting like we all know this is a bad move. Through the draft process back in 2017, there was one NFC West scout who said this about the player: He was viewed as the best center in the whole draft and was compared to Travis Frederick and Corey Linsley. The Vikings traded up to get him. He was great for the Vikings up until his first injury. Since then, injuries have started to stack up. The point is this: the potential is there, and Rhule and Fitterer believe they can fix him. They know way more than all of us, lets give em a chance. ALSO: You never know with O-line, two examples. - Andrew Norwell: He is not the top 10 guard he seemed to be when we let him go. - Darryl Williams: He is not the worst RT in the NFL as he seemed to be when we let him go. He looks like a top 10-15 RT.
