Last week, Scott Fitterer highlighted our draft needs. For pick 39, we are considering drafting a DE, CB, WR, or LB. I have concerns about the need for another LB. We already have Shaq and Luvu as our 2 ILBs for our 3-4 defense. It is unclear whether another LB would even start. In my opinion, another DI would be a much greater need for us. While DeShawn Williams and Shy Tuttle could be good additions, they are not game-changers. We need at least 3 competent/great defensive interior players, and currently, we only have one.

And it can also be a Yetur Gross Matos. The hit rate for a Jeremy Chinn is pretty frigging low and even then, his impact on the team doesn’t come close to CMC’s. This is just a trade that a losing franchise would pull. It’s sad to say it, but that is what we’ve became.

This is the smartest reply on this board. There is absolutely nothing that is special on this team currently. Literally nothing.

Tell me how getting the 60th pick and the 90th pick in next years draft helps replacing a top 15 talent in the NFL. This is one of the worst trade in our history

21-14 Panthers win - CMC gets 100 receiving yrds + 1TD, McAdoo’s play design offers a lot of quick passes and checkdown to take off some pressure off of Ekwonu who will also have a really good game. - Brissett throws for 150 yards with one INT. Jaremy Chinn comes up with the pick. - Run D is not as bad as expected, thanks to the emergence of Frankie Luvu. This forces Brissett to throw more than what was planned.

Matt Corral is not the starter brother, he will be our 3rd QB on the depth chart, which is exactly the kind of player you put out there in preseason.

Why would we waste snaps from a preseason game on a QB we know pretty much for sure will not make the team. PJ is a good dude and he has the talent to be a backup somewhere else but just not with us right now. Also, if there is a good time to give Corral snaps, it's preseason. He won't drown, he'll welcome the challenge.

This kid is leagues above Will Grier when we drafted him. He’ll be good for us.

People forget what he did for the Browns in the 2020-21 season. He won them a playoff game. He had a 5TD game. Last offseason, he was viewed as a fringe top 10-12 QB in the NFL. This year, well he was hurt for a good part of the season and still played. He is not in the same league as Sam Darnold. This is the best the Panthers can do and I’m all for it.

CMC is giving us a 3.5 at RB. It just shows that without him we are a very bad football team

As much as we like to bash our HC and our owner, Scott Fitterer, Samir Suleiman and Dan Morgan KNOW how to run a team the right way. We are in good hands.

One man who went under the radar this past season is Nixon. He looked really good for a rookie out there. He needs more snaps.

Matt Ioannidis is a huge upgrade over Daquan Jones. He's 2 years younger and is a better pass rusher. Both DI tend to struggle sometimes on running plays but on 3rd downs and passing play we just improved a lot. Love this signing.

Havn't followed recent updates for the DW trade. Are we really currently out? Recent reports have the Saints probably going for Jameis next year. The Falcons have to pay Matty Ice next year and the trade simply does not make sense for them. Browns have been confirmed out, but nothing about the Panthers.
