Aho Svech are definitely true goal scorers (Jarvis probably will be shortly as well) Necas Is more of a passer (playmaker) as is Turbo although when he shoots he's got a helluva a shot.

The playoffs are set already have been pretty much since we went to break.. You have to get past the same teams no matter what, even without home Ice you are guarenteed two home games per series.

You are correct about the odds... But this part I put in bold for you remember it next time the world is "falling" the playoff field in the east has been set (above 95% probability even for the wild cards) since it went to break..... with a lot of contenders letting off the gas.... The only teams who have played better than .500 hockey since then are the "try hard" teams that either haven't had playoff success in 40 years (or since the NHL had 6 teams in the case of the Maple Leafs) or teams like Florida who hasn't ever won a playoff series.

The odds of those guys losing out if they sit all there key players are decent (Denver already two losses in a row) the odds of not picking up an otl point and us winning out are the killers lol.

On a side note the Avalanche are resting players until the playoffs and the Panthers may do the same, should they lose out and we win out we will win the presidents trophy via first tie breaker lol.

I can only conclude you are a recent addition to Hockey fandom, at this point it's pretty safe to say all of our Goalies under Rod BA have been "system goalies" aka they are only as good as the defense we play in front of them.... combined with our usual dominance in offensive zone time..... I'm not thrilled with Raanta or Anderson right now yet statistically they are both top 14 Goalies this year. Now compare that to what Nedeljkovic or Mrazek have done respectively.

I really don't want to be that guy defending Raanta but you really don't understand how hockey is played if you're pinning all of that on him.
