Goalies are only as good as the defense you play in front of them and keeping defensive zone time down.... Just look at Vassy this year. Even the greats these days have a lot of stinkers the ability to steal a few games you should lose is huge.... as well as the timing of big saves.... I'm always optimistic but I really do think in the future Kochetkov us our guy..... It's like I spent all pre season telling people not only would Jarvis make the team but he would make an impact...

50 goal scorers are over rated and tend to be one way players.... The contracts they end up with also kill your depth unless you suck into lottery picking one. A 40 or 50 is also super nit picky Aho has 36 and Svech has 30.

Aho was a second rounder, Whose consistently built on his seasons.... Svech is right on track 0 time in lower leagues just turned 22..... Well rounded game..... We also have a ton of depth scoring Turbo,Trocheck,Necas, (Jarvis had he played a full slate easily) of 20+ goal scorers.

He scores clearly, the talking heads of hockey have archetypes for players... Playmaker = a guy who is great skating and moving the puck and passing. Sniper = one way players with accurate booming mid to long range shots. Scorer= Players who use fantastic stick work skating and slick moves. Ovi is the best sniper probably of all time he's a one trick pony with that blast from the top of the circle (and he's the GOAT at that trick) you don't just pick that up in any draft.... He's also useless defensively.

I only have a 12 game package, No way with my job I could make it too more physically.. The last two seasons isn't about taking it for granted.... It's more I don't believe it's over until the "fat lady sings" aka the final siren in game, I need to look it up but I know we lead the NHL in third period comebacks by a large margin, And in a best of 7 I don't quit on them after 3 or 4. The thrill of Necas full ice sprint and wrap around agaist Nashville last season made me lose my voice for two weeks.
