Panthers Free Agent Signings Thread
TrevorLaurenceTime22 replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm just going to watch the knee jerk reactions now. Signing two guys to backup level contracts isn't a big deal. -

This is irrelevant concerning a Watson trade IMO. The CMC contract restructure was definitely more of a hit to the Watson hopes. -
I like this forum better than the main board right now so much less bickering and pettiness.

Agreed, Contrary to the arguments I've been forced into I wish Cam well, I just don't think he can be more than a mid level guy at this point. -

That's a lot for a 500 yard TE. FA always surprises. -

Depends on the structures could be less. -
It is but with the cap adjusted this season to handle the covid loss of revenue it's not going up for the next four seasons.... We have a lot of young guys who haven't fully entered the primes of their careers, if this is handled properly we are looking at at five or more years of contention.

Trey Lance on nfl network as if 12pm est
TrevorLaurenceTime22 replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Its one thing to post a logical argument for a player, the level of emotional attachment to a draft prospect as a fan is rather ridiculous, as fans we have no control over what will happen over hyping a guy who won't be NFL ready in 2021 based on an underwear workout with no pass rush defense ect is silly. I also wouldn't mind Lance what I dread is having to listen to the b*thing on here if we draft him because he will ride the pine in 2021 behind Bridgewater. I also realize given my current user name people who haven't read my posts will acuse me of bandwagoning Laurence, I gave up that pipe dream when we won a third game he's a Jaguar. -

Patriot fans seem excited that Cams back
TrevorLaurenceTime22 replied to mrcompletely11's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'll ask again, In 2005 Stephen Davis wasn't a good running back yet he had 12 goal line plunge TDs, Yet in 2020 a shell of a former MVP QUARTERBACK also had 12 goal line plunges! It doesn't make him a good QB anymore than it made 05 Davis a good RB. -

With so much speculation this offseason, What happens will happen, We as fans can't control it Mac Jones is the only one I truly don't want.... I think Lance will eventually be a good-great QB if we draft him I will refrain from reading the huddle as he sits for a season behind Bridgwater ala PM behind Alex Smith...... I have no desire to read every ticked fan on here crying about it. -
The Canes have some pretty crucial personal decisions coming up this offseason, Svechnikov,Necas, Trocheck Foegeal, Ned and of course Hamilton on the horizon. Who do you sign? also @Zod may I request a username change to SvechnikovBurns ?

Hurricanes @ Red Wings 3/14-3/16
TrevorLaurenceTime22 replied to Harbingers's topic in Carolina Hurricanes
I'm probably in the minority but I wouldn't call it patchwork the Canes have drafted fantastically and developed these young guys into Rods system, They are not mere replacements, it's solid young depth.
