    This wouldn't benefit the McNairs, If you don't want to cede to his trade request you let him sit like he's said and fine away his salary, All this does is potentially TANK his trade value.

    While I have a hard time understanding trade everything for Watson, I'd still take him at QB in a fraction of a second.... I think these allegations are likely a horsesh*t money grab. It wouldn't change a thing for me, but it's 2021 and metoo/cancelculture is real it could screw him.

    Agreed as good as Samuel was he wasn't going to be more than our #3 and with a healthy CMC that is more realistically our #4.... I really liked Curtis going back to Ron Rivera ball and Scott Turner I doubt he lives up to the contract.

    The cap savings on shedding TB is wouldn't be the full 20m, But I am curious how you get a 10% increase, even disregarding that fact how going from a 20m hit to a 40M dollar hit is 10%.

    It should also be mentioned that starting in 2022 Watsons cap hits will be 21% of the projected salary cap.... no draft picks and certainly no FA spending sprees.

    With CMCs restructure the "talking heads" pretty much agree it would take a minimum of Burns/Chinn and at least 3 firsts.... that's a very high price... People love positional value and Burns alone is a blue chip DE commonly valued as the second or third most important postion on the team.
