    "Only a concussion" the way he was on the ice reminded me painfully of the way Luke Kuechly was after his concussion vs the saints.

    After watching the series between them neither would have the advantage over the Canes IMO, For TB they can only score on the PP (strength agaist strength) and Hedman and Vasilevsky have both been very shaky. FL has a horrible PP and PK with an awful defense and two shaky goalies.

    Honestly I think we can take TB in 5 or 6, They can't score 5-5 their defense has been terrible and Vasilevsky has been leaking like a boat made of Swiss cheese.

    Hedman and Vasilevsky look very mortal, We matchup with TB much much better than the Panthers do IMO. Neither of these teams are playing even mediocre defense atm.

    Even if we both sweep (distinct possibility) I highly doubt they will move on with just us in round 2, there will likely be a 7-9 day layoff.

    True, I agree with that, I guess my general train of thought was our special teams were gassed from a ton of high energy PKs and it showed especially on the PP.
