Not close to true guy got his first start in game ten and had like a .800 save % last season.

I went to Raantas first start last season he let two In the five hole and an easy glove high to put us down 3-0 to the Blackhawks.... We won 6-3. But Late nights and early Raanta.... on no sleep ugh.

I'm literally dying I'm probably one Raanta five hole goal from going to bed and watching it in the morning lol.

Even against the Skarks Raanta in goal makes me ill.

Dougie is a less athletic less effort intensive Brent Burns.... Smith will probably play through it... I liked TDAs game but he was way to lateral on the PP....

Ned was a smaller goalie similar to Raanta who was drained by the 3rd period If he had to face a high volume of shots.

Ned did what every goalie in our system does well when facing 25 shots or less..... Freddie is the only guy on the team who is truly a veniza caliber goalie when he's healthy.... If we had him available for the the Rangers series last season there is no doubt on my mind we advance.... One game but he's currently rocking the highest save % in the NHL at .9677 you win a lot of games stopping 97% of a team's shots..... I think by design any NFL caliber goalie can perform well in Rods system..... Freddie is the only elite goalie we have had under Rod..... Even if go watch his play as a Maple Leaf he stopped so much crazy poo with nothing in front of him for defense and still stayed around 90%.... (amazing seeing how poorly they play defense) I said it all post season we protected Raanta far more than we would have needed protect Freddie.... and it took away from our ability to own the puck on the check.

I know I remeber him the past few.... Still a little rude to pop in while your up and run in my book.

Unfortunate hot take from me based on last year..... Withiut Anderson and Raanta In net we drop from being the #1 or #2 team in the NHL to somewhere around 12th...

It's rude to pop in for one lost when you has a very momentary advantage.

4th line Necas hurt his growth last season.... He's the fastest clocked skater in the NHL as long as he's tenacious and limits the TOs he's gonna make an impact.
