Doubtful that Thibodeaux or Hutchinson will fall to us at 6 but what about trading back and taking Jordan Reed? Guy is a monster at stopping the run and a freak athlete. If we fix OL in FA id rather pick up Minshew or ride with Darnold than take a 5%ish chance on hitting on a QB in the draft. Thoughts?

Yes Rodgers is a beast. They traded up in the first round to get Love so do you really think they’d just let him rot on the bench and pay Rodgers a record contract (and jack up their cap) if he was good?! He’s not good homie

There’s a reason that the Packers resigned Rodgers for record money. Love is a bust. I rather roll with Darnold behind a revamped OL than give even a late round pick for Love. I’m done with the knee jerk bandaid projects

I think Robby gets back on track this year with a overhauled OL. Remember that he was rock solid in 2020. He got no love last year because Darnold/Cam had .5 seconds to throw. Not saying he's going to the pro bowl but the guy has shown that he can play. On the other hand he hasn't thrived with Darnold in CAR but maybe with clearing all this cap space we will have someone else throwing to him this season.

Cam is the best QB in franchise history but unfortunately those days are gone. If we strut him out there to “run” all season he’ll be hurt midway through the season at best and frankly he doesn’t deserve that. He is an ineffective passer these days- not accurate, bad footwork, etc. Thanks for all the good times and the nostalgic return but we need to turn the page

I’ve been thinking the same thing. The lions have ZERO talent and they have been play hard every game down the stretch and are in every game. The Jags took the Colts to the woodshed yesterday and ruined their season. Even the damn Jets played teams tough at times down the stretch. It’s all coaching when it comes to getting the occasional late season win on trash teams. Non of that on the panthers. We look this the biggest no-heart team I’ve seen in a long damn time.

Agreed. The man is the best quarterback to wear a panthers jersey. No arguing that. He scared the poo out of defenses with his ability to run you over but was never the most accurate passer. He’s been pummeled behind our mostly garbage lines for a decade and now he’s just not that good. He’s the best option we have now but there’s a reason that he was available guys…..he’s not that good. He misses receivers by 5 yards. Garbage footwork. Overthrows balls on the reg. Damn sure doesn’t help that he’s now getting pummeled behind the most garbage line we’ve ever fielded.

You’re 100% right. Our line is a joke. Doesn’t mean he needs to throw it with feet square to the target 10 times a game. Poor guy is taking a beating is giving us a much better shot than anyone else on the roster. You can’t objectively say his footwork is good. Come on

Why is no one mentioning Joe Brady? Jason Garrett is making him look like he’s a high school OC……and that’s bad. Their whole team is hurt and their offense is looking way better. No excuses. Also, what happened to “we are going to be a run team”. We look like a soup sandwich on offense.

Agreed. I’m not saying Brady is terrible by any means but I just don’t get it. Everyone jerks this guy off and I’ve yet to see why. The “offensive guru” that is a shoe-in for a head coaching job has yet to have a dominant offensive outing to date that I can remember. Shula in 2015 had the Cats poo beating teams. Boat raced the cardinals in the NFC championship game. Beautiful thing to see in a big moment against a top 10 defense.

Great points. Lots of folks get all butt hurt in here but the reality is that we’re gonna lose games. Especially to good teams on the road. Disappointed in our pass rush that looked unstoppable until today. And our o-line is trash….no doubting that
