PJ’s backup expiration date was approaching. If the Falcons DBs hadn’t of had stone hands PJ would have had multiple INTs and possibly some pick 6s. Something tells me this is Wilks realizing that PJ will struggle against the Ravens. Even though PJ is hurt.

Or he isn’t and we go through another “this QB is better than the QB we have” merry go round. Bridgewater sucks, Darnold is better. Darnold sucks, Mayfield is better. Mayfield sucks, Carr is better. I am starting to see a trend. At this point I am tired of getting other teams cast off QBs. We either need to go with Corral, who likely will suck but who knows, or we go get a QB no matter our draft position. Could probably package a lot of our 2023 draft picks to move up this year if we wanted.

If we don't draft high we are probably gonna have to bundle some draft picks to move up. I feel like the Panthers are done with reclamation QBs and will do anything to move up. Even if we have to trade multiple firsts. Hopefully we don't have to do that. But who knows.

Sucks for him. But his injury history was the reason I wasn’t happy we resigned him. Which I feel was a Rhule move, like extending Ian Thomas.

That team was also better than their record. They were an 11+ win team if the injury bug hadn’t bit them early in the year. When we went on the win streak that was when the team was finally healthy. We shouldn’t even be talking about the playoffs. Because this team, even if they make it, just don’t have the talent to hang with the elite teams. This just isn’t like 2014.

Why would it be hard to look anywhere else? He has been okay, but I think Rhule was so bad Wilks looks amazing by comparison. He makes a lot of the same annoy, dumb decisions and mistakes Rivera did. There are better potential HCs out there. With Wilks we are just going back to 2011-2019. Except Wilks doesn’t have a QB to bail his butt out.

This Panthers squad is not the 2014 squad. That team would beat the every loving crap out of this team.

It is quite simple really. Winning means nothing aka meaningless. Losing actually means something, like the ability to actually build a good team and not be stuck in mediocrity. This team isn’t a playoff team. Even if they somehow snuck into the playoffs they would get their butts handed to them by a team that deserves to be in the playoffs. But hey at least we got into the playoffs right?
