Okay slow you roll and why are you coming at me all hostile? I saying neither Wilks nor Reich deserve big contracts and I was just stipulating what kinda contract they deserved. The low end. Back off.
-
“According to Zak Keefer of The Athletic, Reich apologized to Irsay after having lobbied to get the 2017 Pro Bowler with the idea he "could resurrect Wentz's stalled career and solve the Colts' quarterback conundrum."ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Wednesday the Colts are trading Wentz to the Washington Commanders.” Just wow. That is Rhule level of ineptitude. We’re gonna end up with Carr and his 40 million dollar cap aren’t we?
-
So if Reich or Wilks are hired guess will see everyone back here in 1 or 2 years. If it is either Reich or Wilks it needs to be on the low end contract. Like 3 year 5 mill per.
-
Super Bowl contender.
-
Like the anticipated end of a TV series it is gonna end on an anticlimactic note. Watch Steichen do really well when he is hired by another team next year and we are stuck with either Yesterday's Trash or Rivera Jr.
-
Was that on Tepper? Sounded like from Rhules interview he was the one that made the decision to not draft Fields. I mean Rhule straight up said there were no good QBs in the draft with Fields. He pretty much call Fields trash before back tracking of course.

After the Dallas game I don’t understand why he is still a contender? Also the Dallas fans begging us to take him isn’t usually a good sign.
-
Guess we’ll find out this year.
-
There is ALWAYS next draft, or maybe the next draft. No, the NEXT draft is definitely the one. In all seriousness I definitely think it is time to bite the bullet.
-
“5 year fix” WTF? I don’t want to wait 5 years till maybe my team is ready to maybe be contenders. A HC has at most 3 year to make some sort of impact in the NFL. I get hiring a coach with experience being a HC but no more “building programs” crap. Had enough of that with Wilks.
-
Same thing with Wilks, imo. Rock meet hard place.
-
The very least he would get the most out of Levis. Even if Levis is limited. Build a good team around him he can develop into a good, if not surprisingly great, QB.
-
But if he is a local guy that means he is destined to lead this team to 17-0 and to the Super Bowl. /s
-
With Reich maybe 2nd time is the charm? Maybe? I just don’t know what Wilks can bring to the table to fix the offense. Since he has no experience fixing offenses. Also still worried Holcomb will be our DC. Also he will beginning next season with the interim stigma hanging over him. Will he be a new Jeff Fisher(The exception) or the other guys(The rule)

I don’t mean Wentz coming here. I was wondering how much of Wentz’s success was Pederson and how much was Reich? -

I do look at the production he got out of Wentz but how much of that was Pederson? -

Yeah I expect Wilks to be on the hot seat coming in 2023 if he is hired. He will likely gets a 3 year contract and be told he needs to make the playoffs this year. -

Yeah I wouldn’t be surprised if we are terrible next season that Wilks would get fired after one season again. Which would be hilarious. -

Already have my spot reserved for the “Fire Wilks”. We will be serving “I Told You So” alcohol. It is as bland and boring as Wilks is. -

Panthers could make the offer and unofficially hire Steichen even if he is in the Super Bowl I think. I remember the commentators talking about Shanahan going to the Niners during the Falcons Super Bowl. -
Why is mediocrity so attractive?
TLGPanthersFan replied to Ivan The Awesome's topic in Carolina Panthers
Wilks will never win a Super Bowl. Most he will do is flounder for 1 or 2 seasons and be fired. Interim HC do not succeed when the tag is removed. Coaches like him do not succeed in the modern NFL. -

LOL. You Wilks fans are so pathetic. -

The Wilks fans concentrate on 6-6 and not the fact history says Wilks will not be the exception. He will likely be the rule. Do people not know where to look at the interim to HC success rate. It is really bad. Like college coach to NFL bad. -

Yet the Wilks fans will constantly find excuses as to why the Panthers suck under Wilks and it will never be his fault.
