Canales not having experience with College QBs shouldn’t matter. A QB is a QB. Say he can only work with already NFL QBs is not a trait I want in a HC and would be damning. For me it is Ward over Sanders. So I would hope that is who they aim for and we can an avoid the potential drama drafting Sanders may bring. But I have been impressed with Sanders play, too bad about that attitude. But if Bryce continues to improve this may be a moot point.

Ward and Sander are worth a first pick, imo. When have we ever drafted a later round QB and developed into something good? We tried twice and it failed spectacularly. There is no “Wait till next year” because guess what? We may not be in a position to draft a QB next year and they damn sure aren’t going to be moving up to draft someone after the Young debacle. If ya get the opportunity to draft Sanders or Ward you take it. Maybe they can move down and still get one of them.

Man if Tepper forces Canales to keep Bryce if we have a chance to draft Sanders or Ward I may go to Charlotte and burn it all down.

Bryce played well but nothing he did Sunday made me this he is the long term answer. Still to many “Bryce” moments.

Yeah, you’re right. My thinking is they will keep him if Ward or Sanders are out of reach and bring in someone else to compete with him. But that is the worst case scenario. I am with most people on this board that even if we can’t get a QB we need to part with Bryce. Heck a QB room with Dalton and Plummer right now sounds a lot better. Than Dalton and Bryce.

They are waiting to see where we draft. If we draft in the top 3 Bryce is gone.

Him and Sanders are the only QBs I would consider in the first round. I won’t be upset if we take Sanders, unlike some people on the board. Both have potential to be really good NFL QBs if the teams can develop them. But as we have seen teams are not willing or are unable to now properly develop rookie QBs.

Yeah he is still playing well. Just saying he is hitting a minor slump. Which is to be expected since teams know him now.

All the QBs in 2023 seem to be struggling. Stround is still the best but even he is going through a sophomore slump. Thankfully the team around him is good enough to win even when he has a down day.

Giants didn’t look good the last game, but they didn’t look Panthers will beat them bad. Daniels Jones will look like Eli against our defense.

Yep, Teams rarely tank intentionally. Also it is hard to tank in the NFL. Panthers are tanking because they are just bad. They are tanking by just existing.

When was it ever off.

One of my favorite moments is when we were blowing out the Skins and he ran back and forth doing the Hulk Hogan “I’m listening” thing. Dude never seems to lose energy.

If we stay where we are we are getting a QB. Might as well make peace with it.
