So after going through the pages nothing is changing and all it will be is a minor update. Hope the draft isn’t as big of a letdown as this hole charade was. If I was the Panthers I would just drop this on Twitter without any fanfare. Because it doesn’t deserve any.

Rivera should have been fired after 2014 but of course our division had to be ass that year. So of course we would go to the playoffs and Richardson would take that as an excuse not to fire him.

Yeah I have read something similar. But it seems like Reich wants a QB that is more pocket passer and only has to rely on his legs if he has too. That sounds more like Stroud and Young to me. As you said, Richardson, at least in his rookie year if he plays, will pretty much be a running back who occasionally passes. I have seen people say we should go to a triple option type of system. But that doesn’t work in the NFL. Players are too fast and diagnose plays too quickly.

I am hoping it is a situation similar to last year. Bunch of hype coming out of the pro day and it seemed we may have multiple QBs in the first. Man were we and the media wrong about that. I think the same thing will happen here.

I would like to win our division by being a good team. Not being the best bad team.

Would you consider Lance a bust if he hasn’t really played much at all? Granted the few games he did play did not look good.

Young and Stroud would make me feel good about the QB future right away. Richardson would have me concerned and worried from the get-go we just wasted 2 first round picks on a QB that is rawer than I like my steak.

Been see-sawing between Young and Stroud but honestly have never been as impressed with Richardson. Yes he is very athletic. Yes he has shown traits that could indicate he can be great. But his terrible accuracy and the fact he will be coming into a team that will want him to probably start ASAP. He has bust written all over him. People say trust the coaches if we draft him. As of right now the coaches haven’t done anything to earn my trust. But if we do draft Richardson 1st the FO is pretty much putting their jobs on the line. 2023 season will be very interesting.

Rhule reminds me of a guy who just auto-assigns every equipment in a video game even if the supposed best setup isn’t actually the best set up.

I will be thinking why they bothered trading up to 1st for a play that definitely would have been there at a less expensive place to move up or at 9. 1st isn’t a place to draft a project player that may not start for a long, long time. If ever. We aren’t the 49ers. We aren’t a team that can contend while out QB situation is in the pits.

If we take Richardson I will be beyond pissed.

Watched highlights of Young’s worst game last year vs LSU and that game pretty much has everything I worry about drafting him. His height definitely affected his vision that entire game. That interception in the end zone was horrendous. Guy needs to learn to slide. Had several passes that if it was the NFL would have been easy INTs. Didn’t read an obvious blitz coming off the edge and almost got blown up. Young is gonna have these games in the NFL, most likely his rookie season, but the LSU game was a showcase of the things I worry about him.

Agree. If this was MVP Lamar I would be all for it. Fact is he hasn’t been as good as his MVP season and he is injury prone

Saw a bunch of people on twitter when I googled Panthers wanting them to trade for an injury prone QB who hasn’t played a full season in 2 years and hasn’t played as well as his MVP season. Hell no I do not want him.

I just can’t get over how short and small, weight-wise, he is. I just think about him being under 200 lbs and 5’ 10”. All it takes is one bad play and a 300 lbs player landing on him the wrong way and bam, game over. Injuries are the main reason I will be wary if we draft him. But I hope he proves me wrong.

They have had the same uniforms since they entered the league. It is time to modernize.

At the very least this should officially eliminate Levi’s from any consideration.

I think Colts would be wise and just not getting a QB this year. There is a big cliff between the top 2 and bottom 2 QBs.
