Story of Rhules tenure here. We’d move the ball easily down the field between the 20s. Then once we got into the red zone Rhule didn’t know what to do.

Why do I have a feeling Rhule would be one of those guys in Madden that just hits auto-select play on every down because he doesn’t know what he is doing. Even if the play selected by the AI is horrible and obviously wouldn’t work.

Would have thought that would have come up during the first date. I mean being a Duke, Saints, Seahawks, Yankee, Bruins, Capitols or Broncos fan are ground for immediate dismissal for me. (That said all the stuff just listed are waived if the “You Have Fallen for the Girl” clause is enacted. Which overrides everything.)

Maybe. But I wouldn’t be surprised if teams stay away from him.

We all know ARod carried Hackett’s butt. He was incredibly meh before Rodgers. Hope that a team isn’t dumb enough to give Hackett another HC job after Rodgers makes him look like a better OC than he is.

I remember reading during the Rhule era, either a media guy or someone in the league, that their opinion was that we had a lot of players starting for us that wouldn’t on other teams. Our team was so horribly constructed as a NFL team.

Eagles win 2018. Last time I felt truly good about this team. That team was a Super Bowl contender before Pittsburgh.

With Baker all I saw was the same song and dance we had been doing the last 2 years. So I had a hard time supporting Baker, well technically I never supported him. Since he stunk from game 1. Rhule just never understood you need a franchise QB. You can’t keep rotating QBs year after year and expect to make a consistently winning team. I still believe Rhule didn’t see the QB as a valuable position, which may of been his college state-of-mind since it seems that QB is less important in college than the NFL. Rhule thought if he could build a good team he could plug any QB in and it would work.

Rhule thought he could win with talent that would be 2nd, 3rd or not even make the roster on other teams. He was a horrible talent evaluator.

Someone in the building must of told him, “You are starting Cam.”

Translation: All our QBs suck so we could start anyone.

Man it must of hurt him not to play Clausen when Cam was a rookie.

Remember he stubbornly played Haskins in a game he could have easily won with Heineke. So his offensive ineptitude is no surprise. But playing Wentz instead of Howell should have been a fireable offense.

I always mark Hardy’s off the field issues and subsequent removal from the team as one of the reasons the 2014 team struggled as much as it did. With him we were 2-0. Losing didn’t start happening till after he was let go for week 3.

It encouraged me when he said that. Preseason should be used to put players in uncomfortable situations so they are ready when they happen.

You’d think he’d stop.

Why are Panthers fans so obsessed with talking about other teams rookie QBs?

I doubt very seriously we would have drafted AR if we kept Wilks. Seems like Wilks wanted Stroud. At least that was supposedly part of his interview.

No they wouldn’t. Except for the few fans who think the preseason actually is a way to gauge the season.
