I have a question: Why didn't Richardson stay another season or 2 at Florida. At 20 years old I think a couple more years in the college game would have done him good. Possibly raise his stock even further.

Remember what happened the last time a coach took a player they thought they could fix? Didn’t work out for either of them and one of them apologized to the owner after the season because it didn’t work out. I think people need to realize that the Josh Allen situation, raw QB with a high ceiling but low floor, is the exception not the rule.

If we do draft him gonna be very interesting the offense they build around him to make up for his height. Lotta shotgun and boot legs.

Never even heard of some of these tests before we moved up to 1. Now the draft Richardson camp are saying we HAVE to draft Richardson now.

If it like any test even bad NFL QBs can score high and then bust.

Never get people’s obsession with a player that probably shouldn’t even be drafted in the first round.

If we get Richardson it is essentially telling the fanbase to check out for the next 1 to 2 seasons. I think the FO thinks we are close enough to be ready to be a playoff team next season even with a rookie QB. No way they get Richardson and expect the fanbase and Tepper to just patiently wait till he is ready. Which may be never. If we were still at 9 or if we had an incumbent starter who is aging out and we needed to find his long term replacement I would be okay with Richardson. But not at #1 and not with Dalton as a potential starter. We need a rookie with potential to start day one.

Drafting AR is pretty much telling fans to check out for the next few season because the Panthers aren’t doing anything in the post-season.

This is the reason why I don’t want to draft him. #1 overall pick doesn’t have 2 or 3 year and this coaching staff doesn’t have 2 or 3 years to wait. I have had enough of losing season and missing the playoffs. I don’t want to watch 2 or 3 more losing seasons before hopefully the QB we drafted can play.

Our 1st overall selection is definitely coming into a team that could be contenders as soon as 2024 and be a surprise playoff team in 2023. Hope we do ruin that 1st pick we gave the Bears after the poo talking the Bears fans have been doing the last few weeks.
