Bryce succeeding was always going to be high risk/high reward. Dude had a ton of red flags going into the draft that teams just decided to ignore. Heck if he was a good short QB he would have joined a very short list, heh, of successful short QBs in the Super Bowl era. Since it seems like his processing doesn’t matter in the NFL all he has is a very average QB ability in a 5’10” body. Murray at least has an arm.

Ouch.

Baker was never that bad and Darnold is literally in a perfect situation for him. A lot of people have been saying Darnold needs a perfect situation to be successful and he has it. That is so why teams need to be very wary of signing Darnold to a big contract. Because whatever team signs him won’t be a perfect situation anymore. Vikings offense has made it so easy for him and that defense has been able to make up for any mistakes, think bad INTs, that he makes.

I am getting as annoyed with how people are willing to die on a hill for a short, physically weak QB. If the Panthers improve it will be in spite of Bryce not because of him. Also Chubba it wasn’t just one game. Bad Bryce has a much bigger sample size then one game. Bryce hasn’t earned the “one game” excuse.

Teams adapted. They know Bryce's limitations. I expect the last 3 games to be very rough.

No that is not the case. Many people, including myself, have never changed their opinion of Bryce. These last 3 games were fools gold and todays game is the real Bryce. He is a backup and it will only ever be what he is and the sooner we jettison his but out of the team the better the team will be for it. The future is not Bryce it is the QB that comes after Bryce. He is too limited to play the NFL game.

It was a terrible game from Bryce. He cause multiple turnovers and without that busted coverage 88 yard pass he would have less that 100 yards passing.

I know people don't want us drafting Sanders or Ward but if they are available I would not be against it. Either that, or draft a 2nd round QB that has at least some talent to go against Bryce during training camp.

At lease bring in some ACTUAL competition. Not some player we know will never play. Someone who will actually challenge Bryce for the starting spot.

Bryce is not the long term option games like this are the reason why.

I couldn’t care less about the draft. Let’s win.

Rod.

Rod is who he is. He NEEDS to mess with lines. His philosophy and coaching style is never going to change. We already extended him again and so we are stuck with him until we are not. Thing is I get everyone just wanting to stick with Rod through good or bad. The Canes have been contenders every season he has been here. But the problem is his issues really come to a head when the playoffs start. Yes, I believe Rod is to blame for a lot of our playoff problems. Rod is a great season coach but a terrible playoff coach.

It will either be awesome or hilarious.

Dudes definitely frustrating elusive for opponents. Ya think you got him and he is gone and getting the ball downfield for 20 yards. Kinda like what Rodger would do in his prime.

Likely the system he is in and the team. That is why a team should look at Darnolds full body of work and ask themselves if he is a true system QB that will regress a lot with another team. Darnold should not get a big payday. Like Foles did when he left the Eagles. Dude won a Super Bowl and then a mid QB got a big contract and Foles sucked.

Great job complete misunderstanding what I said and for writing the most horrible wall of text I have ever seen. When people say the games meaningless they mean they are for their team making the playoffs. Which the games are. Yes they are not meaningless when it comes to the team as a whole. Every rep counts even if winning the game doesn’t mean playoffs. Dude learn to use paragraphs and punctuation. You walk of text will become way more readable. Thing is he would have been there in the second where we were but for some reason getting that 5th year options was really important to Morgan. XL is a second round WR. We just moved up and drafted him in the first.

So worth moving up to draft him in the 1st. Dude is a 3rd round receiver at best. Moron lost us this game. Absolute bum of a player.
