I have already gone over this. Rankings do not tell the whole tale. Yes. He defense was helped by some games he actually kept a team under 100 yards but he has 8 games where he let a team run for over 100 yards. He had multiple back to back games of 100 yards or more. One game with over 200. Also 191, 185, 158 and 151. 5 of the 8 games the Broncos defense was absolutely horrible against the run. 2023 only 4 games of less than 100 yards. This year he had 1 with the final 6 games allows 200 yards per game. We will see if it is the lack of talent. But last year with better talent the defense was bad against the run.

Even if we improve talent. Evero’s defenses have been known, even in Denver, to be horrible against the run.

Going for it has been the Lions MO for a while. Even this year when their defense was healthy.

Detroit is working with a bunch of scrubs and they were fine. Sometimes it can be the players and coaching.

Guess we will find out next year. Our defense wasn’t exactly amazing last season either.

Listening to a podcast and a point they brought up is that if the team is literally historically bad you can't keep Evero. There have been bad defense and beat up defenses and defensive coordinators made it work. Heck the 2009 Saints won a Super Bowl with a terrible defense, ranked 25th. Lions are beat up to heck and making it work, helps having an unstoppable offense.

Hope that means during a good year we don't have to worry too much if some of the line goes down.

Darnold’s weakness has always been mental. Dude has all the tools to be an elite QB in the NFL. If the Vikings were wise they would let their rookie sit for another season or 2 and extend Darnold, if he doesn’t Darnold in the playoffs that is. If you go look at Darnolds highlights this year he has been getting away with a lot of plays that in earlier years would have been interceptions. Is it him improving or his offensive cast being so good. Both? There was a great play against the Vikings where he threw it into double coverage and right to where only the Vikings player could get it. Is he only good with the Vikings because his offensive around him is elite? If they let him walk will he have the same success or will we return to his earlier self?

When you are threatened to be fired it can either light a fire under you or you continue continuing as normal because you see nothing you did was wrong. Bryce seems to have responded to the benching as the former.

It shouldn’t be. Even Cams rushing and passing TDs were separated during the 2015 season.

Technically it is 23 TDs to 11 INTs if you remove the rushing TDs and I think about 3500 yards which is still an improvement. Even the broadcasts during the 2015 season separated Cams rushing TDs to his throwing TDs.
