I love how this team plays but the fact it allows inferior teams to hang around or win is frustrating. There is a reason why people say Rod's system is a better season system.

Worst period of the playoffs. Team looks completely gassed and it is only the first period. Where is the team that dominated game one? Can they please stand up? Don't know what needs to change but something needs to. Struggling against the Flyers does not make me feels good when it comes to facing Buffalo/Habs or possibly the Avalanche. You can't have a lethargic period like that against them.

I like how the Canes play hockey but they way they play really lets inferior teams stick around. I look at the Avalanche and how good their offense is. Our offense is good throughout the season and seems to disappear during the playoffs. We should be blowing out the Flyers like the Avalanche are the Wilds. Instead for most of this game the Flyers have looked like the better team. I feel like we could have the best goal scorers in the NHL and during the playoffs all that would disappear.

Refs have had a hard on for calling ticky tack penalties on the Canes for both series.

I was curious about PP percentage and how it relates to winning a SC. You can make the Stanley cup but no team has won the SC with a PP percentage below 11 percent in 30 years. 1992 Penguins was the last team to do that. But at this point good PP in the playoffs is just not gonna happen under Rod.
