Yeah it didn’t convince me Rod may be able to get this team to the Stanley Cup but I am happy I still get to watch the Canes for at least one more game.

It is eerie sounding when an arena is almost empty. Still Anderson just needed a game to settle down and he is back to form. The entire team seemed to be playing better. THIS was the team I expected to see in the ECF. Rod got his first ECF win.

Getting blown out in every game makes it hard to “be happy to be here”.

I feel like the owner will give Rod one more season. I don’t agree with it, but I have a feeling that is how it will play out. That said sometimes firing a coach that has failed in the playoffs time and time again can occasionally give the team a boost when the new coach comes it and takes them to the promised land. Even if Rod somehow says he needs to try something different we know from past experience that is just coach talk. Like Rivera during his final season. Said during the off-season he can’t keep coaching the same way if he wants to keep his job, but once the season started he fell back into his old ways. Same thing would happen to Rod.

In that seeding Canes would be the 4th seed and would either face the Panthers or Canadians in round one.

You thinking Rod isn’t part of the problem is hilarious. Rod’s system will never get us to a Stanley Cup. 0-12. That is all that matters. He is fuging 0-12.

Even with a good roster Rod has failed. He is gonna be 0-12. On most teams that would get a coach fired.

I don’t think I have seen a series meltdown like this ever. Yet Rod will be retained and we will start the cycle again next year.

So doing what they should have been doing in games 1 and 2.

Panthers seem to be tired while the Canes seem to be just doing their thing. Wonder if exhaustion is starting to affect them. Either way whatever happened in-between games 2 and 3 seems to be working for the most part.
