    Good lord. Loved the goal but another break away almost goal by the Habs.

    It would be funny, depressingly so, if the score is 5-2. Same score from the first game last year against the Panthers.

    People say how Rod's system prevents stuff like that. Apparently not.

    Not when what is happening is almost exactly what happened last year. We came out hot against the Panthers and scored first. Then lost 5-2. We then never had a chance in any of the games. Even the one we won didn't feel like a victory it felt like a team playing scared and just delaying the inevitable.

    YEah I don't understand why we are just letting the front of the net be wide open when we were so good at contain it during rounds one and two.

    One good thing about being a Panthers I fan can start feeling numb to disappointment eventually.

    I'd like to think there could be a perfect storm like what happened with the Capitals but this playoffs seemed like the perfect storm until we had to face the Habs. I don't think the perfect storm will ever happen under Rod.

    I am certain you are a person who said that last year and then again two years prior to that. Sweep, 4-1. Montreal is just like the Panthers and are destroying Rods system.

    4-1 in period one is almost insurmountable. As it has been said before. Rods system can only get you so far and the ECF is a far as it can get us. I don't know or want to think about who could replace him but as long as Rod is the coach we will never make the Stanley Cup.

    Something has to change but nothing will. Same team every year. Same failures every year. Gonna have to come to the realization that we will never get to the Stanley Cup with Rod as the HC.

    Baker was traded before he played his 5th year. RGIII was cut before playing his 5th year. So it is rare but it happens.

    It wouldn’t be the first time a player has signed his 5th and then was cut before he played it. Which is what I think the Panthers should do if we draft a QB in 2027.

    Nothing can convince me Bryce will ever be worth an extension. I expect 2026 to be more of the same. The team is getting better but the QB room has stay pretty much the same. Mediocre at best.

    I think it will be Canes in 5 or 6. I don’t think Montreal ever faced us fully healthy during the season.

    Not staying up to watch it but it makes complete sense this series would go to overtime. Two young teams beating the crap outta each other. At this point both deserve to be in the ECF.
