Yeah but if we don’t we are probably stuck with Bridgewater. Next years crop of QBs is looking really bad and even if they like Sam Howell he is likely going 1st overall or in the top 5. I don’t think we will be bad enough to get another top 10 pick but I have stayed pat that our 2021 ceiling is 8-8 and our floor is a repeat of this season at 5-11. Teams have figured out how to stop Bridgewater. Even if we make the playoffs we will likely encounter what the Titans did this season. Teams will lock down CMC and Bridgewater will be unable to do anything.

Bridgewater will be the reason the Panthers get to the playoffs and all that will happen is similar to the Titans. Teams will shut down CMC and Bridgewater can’t win games for you. We won’t get to a Super Bowl as long as Mr. 2 Yards is our QB.

Man don’t say that. I can’t stand another year of Trashwater under center. I am still positive the Panthers will trade up or get Lance.

Rams overpayed. So glad the Panthers avoided that mistake.

Panthers confirmed to be in Stafford discussion
TLGPanthersFan replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
That is fine by me. Stafford is NOT worth the 8th pick. I expect my QB to not be in his 30s if we have to give up a top 10 pick. -
Panthers confirmed to be in Stafford discussion
TLGPanthersFan replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
That is too much. I wouldn’t give our 8 for Stafford. If he was 5 years younger maybe. Most I would do is: Bridgewater, 2021: 2nd,3rd and 2022: 2nd,4th. I would not give any 1st pick for him. Since he may last only 5 years and we are right back where we started. My preferred course is stay pat. Trade up or hope a QB falls to us. -
Todd McShay is CONVINCED we will move on from Teddy
TLGPanthersFan replied to JABANOG's topic in Carolina Panthers
Lol. You Teddy stans just won’t go away. He is a mediocre QB who will NEVER improve. I cannot wait for that hack to be gone. Never have I disliked a player on our team like Teddy Trashwater. It is almost all because of you annoying Teddy fans. -
Deshaun WATSON Officially Requests Trade from Texans

I guess if Watson is traded the Texans will be tanking because they are terrible. -
Deshaun WATSON Officially Requests Trade from Texans

I mean we have to wait almost 2 months before anything can happen with the new league year so really it is just hurry up and wait. -
Jamie Newman Turning Heads
TLGPanthersFan replied to slumdogmillionaire's topic in Carolina Panthers
Does he have franchise QB potential. That is the main thing I want in any QB we draft regardless of where we draft him. Newman was regarded as a potential 1st round pick before he opted out. I have a feeling a number of fringe first round picks or actual first round picks are gonna slip in the draft. -

If the Panthers land Stafford, it is win now, not rebuild
TLGPanthersFan replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Well the Bucs were already a rebuilt team for the last few years. Their QB just held them back. Got that fixed and they are in the Super Bowl. -

Going with PJ or Grier. See what they can do. Possibly get a top 3 pick. -

If that’s why Rhule wants in a franchise QB why oh why did they think Bridgewater was a good choice. He is literally none of those things Rhule listed. -
If we get Stafford Bridgewater will have to be apart of the trade because Stafford is going to want to go somewhere he can start day one. I am still not convinced Stafford will want to go to a team that, at best, may be a fringe playoff team next year, and I am being generous. Colts are a better destination and I am more confident that he would prefer to go to them. He is essentially coming to another Lions team with us. Rebuilding and not ready to compete yet. If Stafford is going to be able to control the team he wants to go to the Panthers are the last place he’d want to go.

Parsons won't do anything for this team. He won't move the dial one way or the other. We will still be a bad team because our QB is Teddy Bridgewater. Bridgewater is a MAJOR problem the team need to address and the QB class of next year is looking really bad.

We had no control over the Panthers winning but man that win, now that multiple QB needy teams are ahead of us, feels worse and worse. I really hope we don't give up and just roll with Bridgewater next year. I don't know if I can watch another year of him play QB. Panthers media has said the Panthers are making a QB the top priority this offseason so they need to put there money where their mouth is. If we don't trade for a QB this draft is going to be so stressful. But I said last season was the only season I will cheer for us to lose, at least until the next full rebuild. While I will never support Bridgewater I will be cheering on my team as per usual next year. Please Tepper, Rhule and the GM-whose-last-name-I-can't-remember. Get us a QB no matter what.

Gil Brandt weighs in on Carolina QB options
TLGPanthersFan replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't understand why a 32 year old QB would want to come to a team that isn't ready to compete for a Super Bowl yet. If he leaves the Lions he needs to go to a more complete team. Like the Colts. At 32 if you go via a trade you want to go to a potential playoff/Super Bowl team. -
QBs could go even higher than expected in the draft
TLGPanthersFan replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
But winning culture you guys. God I hate Bridgewater. -

Still amazed that a 43 year old Brady can make the deep ball look effortless and we have a 27 year old that plays like Drew Brees at 42 and always looks like he has to put everything into throwing it 20 yards.
