In this day and age a QB like Mac Jones makes no sense. Of this was the 70s or 80s then yeah he would probably make a good QB on the Steelers.

As I said before, I am fine with Teddy still being here unless he is the only “starter” caliber QB and we have not gotten his replacement.

People say Rhule has 4 or 5 years before he could be fired. Personally if we aren’t in the playoffs by year 3 I think he could possibly let go by then. Especially if the wheels fall off and the team falls apart.

Disagree. There are 4 potential franchise QBs this year and it is too early to say any of them will be busts. Stafford wouldn’t of been a stopgap. We may have gotten him for 5+ years if we played our cards right. I don’t blame them for trying to go after an experienced vet, makes the rebuild go faster then if we had a rookie. I don’t think the team thinks anything about the QBs this year yet and we will probably be getting one of those QBs.

Tepper seems to be aware of the fact Teddy isn’t a fan favorite. So I have a feeling that he told Rhule and Scott to get a QB no matter what. It will be so awkward if OTAs start and Teddy is the only QB that may start.
