I just hope we don’t become like the Browns or Broncos and still not have a QB. I didn’t like Darnold but I had some hope that he would be the answer. Unfortunately he isn’t Heck I thought the Browns had their QB and now I am hearing that the Browns are hesitant to give Mayfield an extension. But he has been playing poorly this season.

He played well against a defense without Peterson and was all playing prevent. Excuse me if I am not impressed.

Changing your offense 6 games into the season shows there are bigger problems the throwing 40 times a game.

One way to make your bad QB look less bad is by making him not throw the ball.

People pointing out Sams last drive and shouting that Sam is good: One good drive against the Vikings prevent defense with Peterson out doesn’t excuse the other 3 and a half quarters of bad play.

I never liked Sam. I wasn't stupid enough to actually think the 3 games meant anything. He was BAD is New York and it wasn't all on the O-line or Gase.

Still need a QB and rebuild that O-line. We ain’t winning a Super Bowl with Darnold. At most we will drag him to the playoffs where he loses us the game.

Agree. Coaching, or Brady, thinks you can win a Super Bowl with a QB that only throws 15 s a TDs a season.

Whenever I hear the commentators say Brady the next great OC. Brady wasn't even an OC in LSU. Something tells me Brady wasn't that responsible for Burrows success. Panthers really need to consider a change at the end of this season if Brady doesn't improve. Which since we are having the same problems as last year makes me think he won't improve.

It was like 2nd round guard 3rd round tackle. Something I have never heard a coach describe a player they are drafting. But we've never had a coach that is obsessed with players who play multiple positions.

Still CMCs overuse is going to lead to injuries. Doubt we'll ever get a full season with him again unless the coaching staff changes how they approach his use.

No one is saying that. But him being injured these past two years does raise concerns. Remember Todd Gurley was payed a big contract and then got an injury he never recovered from. CMCs use over these last 4 seasons almost made what is happening an absolute certainty.

As of right now I doubt CMC will play. So I’ll predict accordingly. Vikings: 20 Panthers: 10 Defense does it’s best to keep the team in the game. But the O-line and Darnold doom the team. Darnold throws 2 more picks and is sacked 3 times. Chubba scores the only TD and the team is leading 10-3 at halftime. If CMC plays I think this game is a toss up. Vikings are better then their record and have a top 10 defense.

Versatility may work in college but not the NFL, usually. Rhule needs to learn this and quickly. He may have 6 more year on his 7 year deal but if he doesn’t shape up and learn this isn’t college he will be gone before year 4.
