I am not sure who they will play. PJ may provide a spark, but what if he is worse than Sam? Here is the problem, they are still close to .500 and they will still play the person that gives them the best chance to win. If Sam is not truly injured then I am afraid that they will still play him. There will be a thought all week going through the coaches head of, “Who gives us the best chance to win?” Sam must be doing something throughout the week that makes them feel that he is their best option. When game day comes Sam just reverts back to some stupid reactionary state where he makes bad decisions in key situations. It is a Catch 22.

The funny thing is it was Phil Snow that said that Matt Rhule should look at Sam. I think going forward it probably would be a good idea if the defensive coordinator was not the one that was making suggestions on which quarterback should be the QB of this team.

The only way that Matt and Scott are safe on that call is if it were David Tepper that ask them to get rid of Teddy. I remember that there was a lot of bad sentiment from the fans at the end of last year with Teddy’s poor play.

The Panthers should not have listened to Marty Hurney who thought that they just needed to find serviceable quarterback and build from there. All that does is get them to average which is what they are now.

That’s why I’m scared that they are going to have to go all in on a quarterback such as Watson in order to give Rhule a chance to succeed. I’m concerned with the cost of that kind of transaction and is it in the best interest of the Panthers to pursue that.

I’m right there with you. I won’t ride Sam’s ass too much because I know that even though he sucks he could be a better version of himself with a better offensive line. However with this level of play that he’s at, I don’t believe that he can recover from it and the reputation that he’s built for himself.

We could’ve kept Teddy. although, I was in agreement at the time that I didn’t particularly care for him.

There’s a man named Stan that works on the local radio station here who knows Cams family personally when he worked in Atlanta. He said that Cam would not come back here and that he would rather watch the Panthers fail than return. I would just give up on Cam as he’s not coming back and it’s insanity to keep thinking that it’s an option.

It is natural for people to look back and reflect on the past to only remember the good things and not the bad things. It’s like when parents look back after their kids grow up to only remember the happy times and not all the crappy stuff that goes along with it by changing diapers, crying, fighting helping with homework…
