    I am not worried… yet. If they do not come out next week and look more prepared or at least correct some of the issues that existed today, then I’ll start to become more apprehensive. The way I see it is that someone had to lose today and as bad as it started out it still wound up being a close game.

    This team’s defense is built to stop a majority of pass heavy offenses in this league. The type of offenses that they have trouble with and will have trouble with are the ones with a heavy rushing attack. There are far fewer of those teams in the league, but they do exist.

    I know freaking Chicago beat the 49ers. There’s no way that Chicago is as good as a team as they seemed today. It’s just the first week and it’s not indicative of the entire season. Baker is going to be a good quarterback for this team or at least an average one which is much better than what the Panthers had since 2016.

    Yeah I know it’s like people want to discount the fourth quarter when everything started coming together. Someone had to lose this game and unfortunately was a Panthers. Hopefully next week they’ll put it together and come out a little more prepared, or at least knowing what their strengths and weaknesses are in a real game.

    Not to play that was called but thank God for the result!

    I was saying that before this game and even stated earlier in the day that this game probably and should not be indicative of what either of these teams, or any other teams in the league are going to be by the end of the year. The first week is always at least almost always not clear in who or what they are.

    To be honest on that last sack Tremble did not do a great job chipping him and Ickey did not pick it up.
