I believe that you are correct. NFL market size is different that the regular media market size. The NFL market takes into account the number of households that are part of the base for every game regardless of who the team is playing. I think that in 2016 the Panthers were around the 8th spot. Which makes sense when considering that North Carolina alone is the 9th or 10th most populous state even when not counting South Carolina.

I think that they were not prepared for Trevor. He is not great, but is serviceable. Brees was on Football night in America on NBC and said that Trevor is the right guy to run the Saints offense in a pinch. Plus he has played for the Saints before. So the fact that he knows the offense and Tampa probably went into the game without watching any, or very little film on him allowed the Saints offense to play at a similar level that they had been. Also, the Saints defense has something on Tampa’s offense. Tom looked confused at times and threw costly INT’s that cost them the game.

They looked better, but are still unbalanced. The 46 runs yesterday was still not close to the 50%/50% that they are striving for. If they can get closer to that then that will help out both the pass and the run by not allowing the opposing defense to get a handle on what they will be calling coming out of certain formations. However, I am happy that they were able to dictate the game other than being controlled by the defense.

It saddens me to say that the Panthers need Dallas to win this game so they go a 1/2 game up on the Vikings.

The Facebook whistleblower said that there is 3 times as much traffic generated as a reaction negative news as there is to positive news. Because of this Facebook purposely pushed negative news to generate extra ad revenue from folks being on line more to read and react. In reality there should be similar traffic here as it falls in line with the same behavior as a result of a loss. Wins are great, but there is only so much ass kissing that can be done. It could also be that it is Halloween and people are out with their kids or giving out candy?
