Is this a Lance thread or Cam Newton? If it is a Lance thread, then it should be known that he is not Cam Newton nor will he ever achieve at his level. Lance may be more of a Colin Kaepernick type of player. One read and half the field. I always felt that Lance is a lightweight Cam Newton. However a better comparison may be Kap.

Starting to read the reports from Watson’s side. One is a sworn affidavit stating that the manager is aware that it is a blackmail attempt.

That’s not proof. They are going to need something more substantial along with the testimony of all of these women.

Here is a hard question for you. How does Watson or the women prove that they are telling the truth? I don’t think that you are going to have a good answer. Unless there is something concrete as far as evidence, then the truth will never be known.

This is just so out of character for him and now being labeled as serially perverse with weird requests for the type of massages he wants. This reminds me of a beat down. The fact that he is getting one or two a day keeps him in the headlines. The way this is coming out is definitely a form of character assassination.

Thanks, I was just wondering if it was a mis-timed lawsuit. Meaning that it was supposed to have been submitted after he was traded. In that scenario the Texans would have just missed this drama.

Verge as on here last night and said that it depends on the results. There is no need to close the thread when it will die on its own. Besides, whenever there is new information, someone will just open another one anyway. When that happens all of the same arguments will be brought up again.

Has there been an update since yesterday? Last I read was that the Panthers were one of the teams that were still interested. If there was an update and it is stated that they are no longer interested, then I would agree.

I think that some team will take a flyer on the young man. I believe that Deshaun does have some sort of pattern in his behavior where he has not been held accountable in the past. For this reason he is more aggressive than he should be and his behavior has gotten to the point where it is questionable to out of control. Without priors, then he may be given the benefit of a doubt by some team. There may be a dependency on going to rehab for sex addiction along with a ton of community service( Battered Women Shelter, and etc.) However I do not feel that this goes to trial as that maybe more than his reputation could recover from.
