  1. Because they are desperate to move on from Jones and this QB draft sucks
  2. Dead serious what do you think it would take Jax to trade Lawrence this offseason (I am not adovcating doing this) but with his contract and current level of play it might only be like a third or fourth rounder. Doesn't fit our timeline at all and we need picks but a team like the NYG might pull the trigger
  3. This is a good point and something that has been discussed on the Athletic football podcast a few times. Right now it only makes sense to pay true game changers at QB: Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, etc. OR pay someone like Baker or Geno mid tier money. Yes you might not get top flight QB play with Baker or Geno each week but the alternative is overpaying for a Baker or Geno level player at max value. the other option is to just keep drafting QBs but this has a really high bust rate and it takes time to develop those guys
  4. He has regressed so much. Hate it for him. He was such a good prospect. Jaguars are essentially in the same tier as the Panthers in terms of incompetency.
  5. Just sitting here on a Sunday ruining my day thinking about how much I fuging hate David Tepper for ruining our franchise. Worst fuging trade of all time.
  6. Not doubting you but you had Daniels over Caleb?
  7. Truly can not wait until the Bryce young disaster is behind us
  8. this is a good idea but I think the owners in Cleveland are delusional and still think Watson is going to work out for them
  9. we desperately need him to pan out and be at least a serviceable LT, so I'm praying he continues to look not terrible. Thus far he has been better than last year but not great, I'l take that
  10. Coaches Keep Dave, for at least two more seasons. By year three we should have enough data to say whether or not he is worth keeping. I have mixed emotions on him thus far. He's better than Rhule or Reich though. I think Evero is fine, wouldn't be surprised if we mutually part ways this offseason though. The O-line I'd draft a center this year if nothing else to develop. Otherwise keep as is. QB Keep Dalton, see if anyone is crazy enough to give up something for Bryce, if not keep him. Would not draft a QB this year in round 1. 2026 looks like a much better QB year. Tight End Keep Sanders and Tremble. Draft a TE next year WR I would extend DJ. I would not be opposed to using another high pick on WR, even in round 1. RB. Hubbard will likely be too expensive to keep but if he is reasonable try to resign him. Cut or trade Sanders. Defensively huge mess agree. DB and Horn are the only must keeps. Defensive Line Edge and NT are top priorities. We have ignored a true NT for too long. But we need to walk away from this offseason with a high pick at edge and another veteran as well. Keep Clowney. Would be happy if 3/4 top four picks are d ilne LB Jewell looks like he sucks, hopefully Wallace blossoms this year and can turn into a starter. Would definitely draft a guy this year as well CB extend Horn asap, he's only going to get more expensive. Could use another high pick at CB but defensive line is more pressing. Safety Keep Woods, don't love are our players here but we have too many other needs and safety is devalued now 2024 Trade Deadline. Trade AT if possible otherwise anyone is available for the right price. Do NOT trade future resources for players right now. We are not close to competing. 2025 offseason Sign an edge, likely sign a LB. If a decent TE is available I'd look there. 2025 Draft trade down trade down and trade down. Edge x 2, NT, LB, CB, TE, C and WR are all very legitimate arguments for draft needs. Lots and lots of holes. OUTLOOK we will not be competitive again next year. That's the curse of trading up for Bryce. The idea is to start putting together a team that is competent and has young depth while replenishing our draft stock. 2026 is the year when we can go get a rookie QB and try to change the trajectory of our franchise.
  11. I said all offseason we were going to be bad. When DB was out for this year I predicted that we were going to be historically bad.
  12. Tepper doesn't want anyone that would remotely challenge him, he wants a rah rah guy that makes him feel good about football in board meeting rooms
  13. he's been really good this year at center, this sucks ass
  14. I feel like i'm seeing this a lot and while I agree this was obviously dalton's worse start the defense was the big problem today. Between that, drops and injuries along the offensive line we really didn't stand a chance no matter how well dalton played
  15. yep. He is the only constant since he came here. He has systematically dismanlted this team of its talent and draft picks, all the while doubling and tripling down on trying to quick fix this team The only path to getting better is going full rebuild. But he's not patient enough for that. Also I hope he is reading this. You are a narcissist. You don't know football. Quit acting like you do.
  16. some brave huddler get this job just to tell tepper to fug off
  17. cool, I'll def be doing this daily thanks op
  18. Bad drafting will eventually run any team (see Patriots Brady dynasty) Bad drafting + trading away future assets every single year for another new QB + the bryce trade would absolutely tank any team to oblivion It's a miracle we are competitive
  19. this is the post folks I am so serious when I say we should not trade for anyone at the deadline. If we deal vets for draft picks totally fine but the posts on twitter saying we should trade for Hason Reddick and extend him are driving me insane
  20. I say yes to do it now. That being said if Dionte makes it clear he is not re-signing here this offseason then yes deal him Schefter just said he is 'gone next year' fwiw
  21. the more I think about it the more I feel like the Bengals really lucked out in this one. going to be gambling against them from here on out
  22. Penalties, injuries and multiple 50/50 plays didn't go our way today and yet this team competed against a much more talented Bengals team. Proud of them. There are some pieces on this team and Canales might be a great coach. Just build this team up this offseason with young talent through the draft particularly on defense and we may be cooking faster than the national media thinks
  23. get XL on the jugs machine asap, love his potential but he just needs to start catching with hands not his body. hurt him last week on that two point conversion
  24. Dalton is so decisive. Underrated trait in a veteran QB. Something Bryce lacked terribly
