  1. best case scenario is we get extremely lucky like Chicago and some team gives a kings ransom for one this year and we go loaded into the 2026 draft. Will still likely not be good until 2027 so yea based on when we drafted Bryce
  2. While it's not what I would do I'd say the chances are pretty high (>50%) a.) this is not a good QB draft b.) Tepper, despite his reputation, does not like to admit he is wrong about anything and he went all the fug in on Bryce. I mean he gave Matt Rhule three years when it was obvious after year 2 Rhule was done c.) I pray Dan Morgan uses this to talk some sense into Tepper saying look we desperately need to build the team up, let's take our lumps acquire more picks and build the team around him BUT we will sign a veteran in case we need to bail on Bryce next season Then we draft a legit QB in 2026 and hopefully break out of this hell cycle
  3. ^^^^^ this, harbaugh also not known for being a good sport, if he can he will run us into the ground
  4. said this in many threads last year, but I think this is the lowest point in my panthers fandom. I keep finding new lows I wonder when I will stop caring
  5. would rather put 1.80 on the Chargers covering a 32.5 point spread....oh wait I did that
  6. watch us cover this by a backdoor touchdown, still lose by 6 and then we all lose money
  7. Let's see how the next few weeks go. I'm about ready to just give up on this season already but they may surprise me. I do think our defense is going to be historically bad this year though
  8. I will give you this he's the wildcard the only guy I could see playing himself into that slot
  9. Going to put my name down on this now. We need to do *EXACTLY* what chicago did to us. Trade the first overall pick for a king's ransom and start building the team up with BPA everywhere. Look I don't think Bryce is the answer for us but this team has holes EVERYWHERE Sit out a bad QB draft and wait till 2026 which should be a much better year for QBs
  10. Don't think either are worthy of a top 5 pick atm and the absolute last thing this team needs is overdrafting another shitty QB. Build the damn team up, Bryce sucks but this team is awful.
  11. was one of the only positives from the game yesterday in addition to the interior o line playing much better than last year
  12. well we did get our asses fuging pounded so that checks out chief
  13. yea AR would have been a solid pick too. I agree on the culture thing but I just can't see them actually giving up on Bryce after one year and one game. Not saying that Bryce gives us the best chance to win, I don't think he does
  14. I was thinking that live, actually a good route by XL and if it's a well thrown ball that's a TD, instead it's just another errant throw
  15. that's the secret we trade the number one pick and get more picks so we have more chances to actually get something right
  16. I bet Bryce young would be very good at flag football, I say that in jest and seriously that it doesn't surprise me he wow'd everyone with practice reps and in shorts.
  17. He is absolutely awful with any sort of pressure in his face. He doesn't have the requisite arm talent to overcome bad mechanics, which are shoddy at their best.
  18. It's impossible to know HOW much he meddles but there are very credible nfl insiders like Ben Albright who have alluded to him having way, way too much input into the day to day operations. It's undisputed however that he has earned a reputation which will prevent us from landing top tier coaches or GM candidates. No one is going to want to come here.
  19. The only cautionary tale I'm taking for Bryce is if/when we have the number one overall pick this year and there isn't an undisputed sure fire guy to take at one. Do exactly what Chicago did and trade out of the pick and get future assets. Bryce is not good but this team DESPERATELY needs talent at almost every single position. Stop trying to be 'just one guy' away. We do this every year. Just accept we are bad and build up slowly by taking literal BPA and every trade down possible.
  20. honestly sitting him may be worse for us in the long run. Dalton plays and we may actually win some games. Is now a bad time to remind you guys I wanted Stroud after his rose bowl game performance against Utah?
  21. I don't think we have pressured Carr once today. going to be a very long season, defense is noticeably worse than last year
  22. as it stands right now yes, I think stats back that up too
  23. benching him is probably the worst thing we can do honestly. you either keep him in and he figures it out (unlikely) or he proves he isn't the guy and earns us the number one overall pick
