  1. I just don't see how he makes it pass Jax or NYJ tbh
  2. Of the options you listed a trade back most entices me particularly if we stay in the top 15. However if you made me pick I'd take Jalon Walker
  3. Incredible that he made that many trades and didn't really improve our team aside from next year's draft
  4. My thinking on all of this is: the Panthers know they need another weapon for bryce. This FA period SUCKED for needing a WR, I mean NE who is more desperate for WR and had cap space for days just had to overpay for a washed Stefon Diggs. They looked into DK but it was too expensive. So they used their FA to try and fix the defense as best as possible. Now at 8 they know none of the WRs are worth that pick, but maybe in a trade down or in the second we could be cooking
  5. It would be really cool if just, as a nation, we could all agree on one thing: Stopping April Fools
  6. it's going to take an idiot owner to trade up for with us
  7. currently leaning Walker over Shemar if we're going for the athletic freak at DE
  8. sign me up for that trade back all day. we have too many holes to give up our second rounder
  9. if he truly has a poor work ethic Dan isn't taking that guy top ten simple as. He wants dawgs more than anything else
  10. I am going to hold on to this W bc at the time I voiced major concerns about Isiah Simmons and how he was a JOAT and master of none
  11. they are NOT 1 to 1 comparisons, but this is my hesitation with Jalon Walker. In the sense that if you view him as a tweener and not a full time edge you may end up with Isiah Simmons 2.0
  12. 6.5 feels right, if we continue on our upward trajectory I could see somewhere in the neighborhood of 7-9 wins this year However to think that's a lock to go over it ridiculous considering the history of Tepper's time here.
  13. for matt miller this is actually pretty good. He's an idiot and usually intentionally screws the panthers
  14. Oh I'm all for a trade back if mason graham isn't there. I'd be ecstatic with that. My problem is I really can't see anyone trading up unless Jerry loses his mind for Jeanty
  15. Safety is techinically the most pressing need but obviously not at 8 overall. I see edge, DT or offensive playmaker as the easy choices at 8
  16. everything I keep hearing from reliable draft people is that the NFL is way lower on TMAC (think late teens and twenties) than fans are. I'm not saying that's correct but I really don't think the Panthers are considering him at 8 yall
  17. I also will maintain that we will never truly know what kind of GM Fitterer was. For half of his regime he had Matt Rhule with final say and for the other half it seems like david tepper was calling all major shots
  18. Process was also very good that draft. We added more picks and took swings on talented players in later rounds. I was very happy leaving that draft other than us passing on Justin Fields
  19. my wish right now is 1- carter 2- hunter (not happening) 3- graham (probably not happening) 4- Tet 5- trade down 6- Walker IF we view him as an edge 7- Jihad Campbell Then 8-11 is some mix of Stewart, Mykel, Mike Green and Donovan E I'm kinda with you though OP i'm starting to feel like we are content with either of those guys at 8 and Dan doesn't really care how the board falls before
  20. ....and now Jaycee's deal looks like a steal. Been exactly one week. Imagine what it will look like after next offseason. Pay your good players to stay. Their deals always look better a year or two later. Don't overpay for average talent. But blue chip talent? pay.
  21. I think the plan is to see if a top talent falls to 8: graham, hunter or carter (unlikely) If and when that doesn't happen I could see us trading back for a team desperate for O-line help and taking Golden and I'd be very happy with that plan
  22. I don't think he makes it to 8 but he'd be the easy choice if he was there whether you view him as a WR or a CB.
