  1. Again see one of my previous posts; I hate this argument. If Gettleman thinks he is good enough, then great I'm all on the Henry train. I'm saying what I think- hence the whole fuging point of a message board
  2. Jim Brown is one of the best ever to play the game. Is Derrick Henry Jim Brown? I don't fuging know but probability says he is likely not. Again you are gambling your first round pick on the fact that Henry will be the EXCEPTION not the rule. I'm NOT saying Henry won't be good, because I don't know (no one really knows), but I'm just not willing to gamble our first rounder on him. Not when we are so close to winning the whole thing.
  3. also it's a horrible argument to say "oh wow you think you're smarter than Gettleman?" first off, most rational fans have full faith in whoever Gettleman drafts and I'll change my tune on any prospect if they are good enough for Gettles second, he hasn't drafted anyone yet so I'm not sure how you know if he loves a certain guy third, the whole point of this message board is to talk about the Panthers. It would erase the need if every single draft thread began and ended with "LOL u noobz have no idea what you're doing"
  4. so yes I agree but he IS the exception, thank you for proving my point - we see hundreds of RBs in the league every year (including backups and practice squad) and PLENTY of talented large men------so why aren't there more huge RB's I'm not saying Henry won't succeed but that certainly IS NOT the rule- he would be an exception
  5. Here's my simple argument against D. Henry If big RB's are so great- why haven't there been more? Are you willing to bet that Henry is the exception instead of the rule? I'm not- not in the first round.
  6. I think all four of those prospects will be available by the time we pick maybe not Butler - I think a team will surprise people and draft Cravens in front of us, but I'm still not sold we would draft him in the first, maybe a trade up in the second
  7. eesh that schedule looks rough- and you better bet teams are going to bring their A game against next year
  8. I literally never said Shaq was a bad player. All I said was that last year's first round pick was not "In an area of great need". This has nothing to do with Shaq
  9. which he rarely played- now granted the injury played a role in that but Shaq didn't see significant time till the playoffs (Seattle or Arizona- then obviously more once TD got hurt) I'm not saying Shaq wasn't a fantastic pick, but "area of great need" is a stretch
  10. 2015 - LB Shaq Thompson - logic does not compute
  11. holdouts don't end well for either party, see Kam and Sea this last offseason
  12. I love your reasoning for the Henry pick, EXCEPT, by the time Greg retires and moves on it will be right about the time Henry is due for a second contract and did you see how much Fleener just got? Now if none of the top pass rushers are there I'd agree we need to look at BPA and Henry would be a great addition to our offense. Lawson in the second is a DEFINITE possibility- the guy reeks of someone draft pundits are rating too high and will fall into the second/late first. Meanwhile, Dodd will go like 11th
  13. keeping in mind my opinion on the draft changes like 5000 times before the actual draft, I'd be ecstatic with Dodd and I think Gettle would be too Problem is I can definitely see him being a riser and long gone before we pick
  14. We desperately need him to be one, and damn he looked great in the biggest game of anyone's life
  15. If we score >20 points I don't think the Broncos can win this game, their offense is just anemic
  16. his arm is in a sling he's done for the night , no word on specifics of injury
  17. woah woah woah what the fug happened to kalil
  18. I'm betting broken radius. He went back for x-rays and came back in a hat. Seriously depressing.
  19. honestly don't think that should have been a fumble but hey I'll take it!
