Washington Football Team finalizing deal with Marty Hurney
SOJA replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Imagine being so bad at your job you were fired not once, but twice and rehired a third time -
incredible, love it

I'm liking it so far, recently got to England, the completionist in me just wants to find all the eagle landmarks and do all the raids, I guess I should do the actual story too lol

Rapoport: Panthers expected to be in the mix for Watson.
SOJA replied to nctarheelreincarnated's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tepper sees himself as a "closer" and someone who "gets his guy" I have no doubt we will pursue Watson if Tepper sees fit. He would put butts in seats, sell a fug load of jerseys and we would immediately be a team that has a guy who can win a superbowl. We don't have the assets MIA has though so I have a hard time seeing this become a reality -
Parsons has some off the field stuff that sounded kinda bad, some view him more of a 3-4 OLB fwiw
-
too pricy for my blood, that would be something I'd offer for Watson (which Houston should say no to but they might be dumb enough to accept)
-
Oh I think you might have misunderstood I LOVE that stuff And you're totally right, people slammed Verge or whoever for stuff he posts like the scout is making all the final decisions lol
-
I can't remember @Verge are you the guy who has a friend that is a scout? or is that someone else on this board?

Here's the one piece I'll add to this QB conversation. There is no sure bet after Lawrence, however this is a very good year to need a QB as in almost every other year Wilson, Fields and Lance would all be in the convo for the first QB drafted. Will all three of those guys pan out? Almost certainly not. History tells us that one maybe two will be Pro Bowlers. Let's just hope we get the right guy, and more importantly, put him in a position to succeed
-
^^^^ I am SHOCKED by how good Allen has been this year, it's almost like the karma of Bills fans willed him into becoming a franchise QB

I downloaded the most recent Nvdia update and now I'm running also had to turn off a GOG overlap option. Seems to be running fine now.

I hate to be this guy, but the game is literally unplayable. I created my character and the game crashed. Now it won't even boot from steam. It loads the CD Project Red title then crashes everytime. Really excited for this game and I love CD but this is bad.

Carolina Panthers OTAs Week Two Notes and Photos
SOJA replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
zod, this is an amazing write up- thank you -
Interesting that we had Coleman at SS, he excelled last year at FS for us WR is getting interesting The only locks I see are KB, Funch, and Ginn- I truly think the rest is wide open with Philly having an edge over the other guys.
-
I love Garrett so glad he's a Panther
-
if we get Bell, Cravens, or Shepard in the second I will be ecstatic I definitely agree that we will try move up in the second
-
I didn't call anyone out for having one- I think my message got lost in translation. I'm just saying it's dumb to say, "Wow you're just a joe schmoe what does your opinion matter?" Furthermore, I totally understand why people are intrigued by Henry. He's a Heisman winner and an absolute mammoth of a human being. I'm fine with people liking him.

Jim Brown is one of the best ever to play the game. Is Derrick Henry Jim Brown? I don't fuging know but probability says he is likely not. Again you are gambling your first round pick on the fact that Henry will be the EXCEPTION not the rule. I'm NOT saying Henry won't be good, because I don't know (no one really knows), but I'm just not willing to gamble our first rounder on him. Not when we are so close to winning the whole thing.
-
also it's a horrible argument to say "oh wow you think you're smarter than Gettleman?" first off, most rational fans have full faith in whoever Gettleman drafts and I'll change my tune on any prospect if they are good enough for Gettles second, he hasn't drafted anyone yet so I'm not sure how you know if he loves a certain guy third, the whole point of this message board is to talk about the Panthers. It would erase the need if every single draft thread began and ended with "LOL u noobz have no idea what you're doing"
-
so yes I agree but he IS the exception, thank you for proving my point - we see hundreds of RBs in the league every year (including backups and practice squad) and PLENTY of talented large men------so why aren't there more huge RB's I'm not saying Henry won't succeed but that certainly IS NOT the rule- he would be an exception
