  1. Watson should be our option 1a. We're on the outside looking in of the top 4 QB prospects. Watson is a far superior QB to trade for in comparison to Stafford. I would trade three firsts, a second and Teddy. Do everything you can to re-sign Moton, franchise Curtco, sign a decent CB and give Okung a one year prove it deal. Boom our window to win just became right now.
  2. Wirfs is the correct answer for the Bucs Chiefs Hill for football purposes alone. Guy completely changes an offense. He is one of the actual few players that can score anytime he touches the ball. Extremely rare in the NFL.
  3. Oh don't get me wrong I think we need a QB this year but I don't want Mac Jones at 8 if we're left on the outside looking in at the top prospects
  4. I think we're going to be on the outside looking in for one of the top 4 guys. If that's the case and we can't draft one I'd look hard at Slater or Sewell. That's the best option is fixing LT now for the longterm. Build the o line throughout this draft and just pray next year we are in a better position to get a QB
  5. If we miss out on the top four QBs and don't draft either Sewell or Slater I will be fuging livid.
  6. We probably have to trade up with NYJ to get him. I think NY might just take him. It would be a LOT easier if we had the number three overall pick to do this. With the Lions now officially in QB mode we are officially on the outside looking in and will have to trade up to get a QB. Jax- Lawrence NYJ- Wilson ATL- Fields Det- Lance In some sort of order. BUT HEY WINNING CULTURE
  7. Going to be hard to play in February without a QB
  8. Matt Stafford scored 0 (zero) points against this Panthers defense
  9. It's only a matter of time at this point. There's been enough smoke soon enough Deshaun will either publicly request a trade or his agent will leak the Texans are shopping him
  10. I'm sorry but while I mean no disrespect to Stafford (who is underrated and really has been a warrior for a terrible Lions franchise) he is not in the same stratosphere as Watson even disregarding their age.
  11. I think the Texans would happily take Teddy, he can be a one year bridge to whoever they use the 8th on this year
  12. There is no way in fug I trade Brian Burns unless it's for Watson straight up. Yea I said it.
  13. Pitt is a better fit for him anyway. I think this is a win for all parties.
  14. Only way I trade him is for Deshaun Or if Shittsburgh offered us their first rounder I would consider it
  15. You figure it the fug out because it's your job and you have a top three QB in the NFL
  16. Both of which we have to rebuild anyway currently without a top three QB in the NFL.
  17. Both Miami and the Jets can outbid us. The Jets will certainly try but Deshaun has a no trade clause and the Jets have become the worst franchise in the league, absolute dumpster fire. Miami truly might be sold on Tua and really might not want to move on from their assets. Deshaun almost certainly would ok a trade to Carolina...
  18. I was going to reply to your reply but then you made a whole thread Dude the Seahawks got RIPPED for the Adams trade. Also your notably leaving out that this same Houston Texans team traded one of the three best WRs in football for a second rounder and a hurt RB
  19. I mean don't get me wrong I'd rather have Watson, Wilson or Fields
  20. Headline in a few months Breaking: Former Panthers DT KK Short has agreed to a 2 year deal with the Buffalo Bills
  21. I'd be fine with that. The key in that scenario would be hitting on a lot of late round picks + finding a viable LT option for Watson + signing smart FA bargain bins But you do it for Watson. Are you hearing anything from your friend about our interest level?
  22. Here would be my ideal power ranking of the options 1: Teddy, 8th this year, future first, and CMC for Watson 2: Trade up to 2nd overall with #8, future first, and second this year. Draft Wilson 3: Trade a second rounder for Stafford
  23. I actually don't hate the Stafford idea as much as I originally thought. He's 32. He likely has 3-4 more good years left in him before his game tanks. I wouldn't give up anything more than a second for Stafford though. But if they took our second I'd draft a LT in round 1 and go all in a CB number one in free agency. Sign Stafford to a three year extension. Boom. There's your three year window to win. If it all blows up you haven't given up any future picks, have a LT for the future and CB is always a need in the NFL.
