  1. Again we come back to Pick 5 making a lot of sense. Anderson and Carter will go in the first 4 picks to Chicago/Arizona in some order Houston and Indy will both take QBs. my prediction is Young and Levis. Seattle makes too much sense. hx with the FO. Seattle will want to trade down as they miss out on elite talent but can still take a DE at 9. We take Stroud.
  2. totally agree. Now if he is available in the rounds 4-5 you take that guy because you may have just found a Kirk Cousins type player. I'm fine with throwing multiple picks at QB this year.
  3. Excellent news. We have tried the re-tread thing one too many times. It's time to get our guy and groom him. We have the perfect staff and team to build around a rookie. Go get your guy.
  4. This brings me back to the Brian Burns trade. The rams are going to STINK the next few years. It would be so nice to have their first rounders and second *crying face*
  5. I mean I would love Jalen Ramsey. Hell I'd probably instant purchase his jersey. But we have a void at QB and need all of our draft capital and resources in order to address that right now. It won't happen but if he were to get cut that's an entirely new ballgame but i suspect 31 other teams would be in on him as well
  6. wasn't directed at you was directed at people in this thread freaking out about meeting with him. It would be negligence if we didn't do our due diligence on all of these guys. As far as Hooker being the best of all of these guys. Yea of course that could happen. Drafting a QB is kind of a crapshoot, that being said there are some serious concerns about his age, the system he played in and his health
  7. We're going to meet with all of the top 5 QB prospects lol
  8. we can only hope people doubt Bryce Young bc of his height. He is the best QB prospect in this draft That being said I think Houston wants him and may even trade up to 1 to get him
  9. I'd much prefer Brissett over Carr due to price and I don't believe the talent gap is a large as some people would point out. Like the difference between the 10-12 best QB in the league vs. the 15-17th no matter what though we HAVE to get a rookie QB. we have kicked this can down the road for FAR too long
  10. totally agree on your point about not precluding us from taking a QB next year No matter who we draft this year, if we're bad enough to be in the top 3 next year I'm taking Maye or Williams and figuring the rest out later
  11. This is pretty much a dream first four picks for me.
  12. I mean that's great and I would be ecstatic with a rookie too. But a rookie is likely going to cost us about as much draft capital and is an unknown whereas lamar is a 26 yr old former MVP
  13. If you're telling me I get Lamar Jackson for two first round picks (regardless of the size of the contract) I'm sprinting to that deal. It makes so much sense for us.
  14. YES dude I have been saying for years that Gettleman was actually a good GM. Did he rub people the wrong way? Yea. Did he make good football decisions? For the most part yes which is more than you can say for a lot of GMs
  15. That until we find a franchise QB we will be irrelevant. You would think this is actually a popular opinion but there are actually human beings who don't think going after Bridgewager, Darnold and Baker were bad moves even in hindsight. Matt Rhule set this franchise back YEARS with his terrible management and decision making. Again this should be a popular opinion but it is debated
  16. I'm hoping the Texans fall in love with Levis. That would only help the Panthers
  17. Names that grab my attention Lamar Jackson QB- obvious choice is obvious Jessie Bates FS- we've never had a true FS with his talent. S isn't as valued as it once was in the NFL but someone will pay him bigtime and I don't think it will be use Daron Payne DL- underrated player that could be a starter on a great d-line. think he would make a nice pairing next to brown Bradberry CB- reunion tour boys, should have never let him go tbh Evan Engram TE- loads of potential, played p well this year Bobby Okereke LB- knows Reich, solid player that is on the up and up, kind like Luvu Mike Gesicki TE- not really a fan, I mention him bc I see a lot of love for him but i don't really see it Yannick DE- good stop gap for a one year deal to play opposite Burns Juan Thornill S- again I think we need to address safety this offseason, I think Chinn is better suited at LB Poona Ford DL- need another DT next to Brown I think he's a good player insane that Bozeman is not on this list lol
  18. I mean if the Bears don't trade out of 1 I'd be fine to trade to three. The problem is right now I feel like we need to get into the top 2 to get Young or Stroud anyone else isn't worth trading up for
  19. we need the draft picks to replete talent on our team and it's time you guys started realizing smart teams garner draft picks
  20. I mean I would do that if I were the Bears. That being said Sapp is talking out of his ass here. Could it happen? Of course. Does Warren Sapp have insider info? unlikely
  21. Isn't OP the guy who has "quit" the Panthers in like five different own post threads
  22. I am 100% completely and utterly ok with us doing more than the "bare minimum" to upgrade QB This offseason. Just like we should have still drafted Fields after getting Darnold. You 100% should be ok drafting one at 9 even if you get one in FA or via trade. Only exception is if we trade for Lamar, then we won't a.) have draft picks and b.) won't need a QB
