    The Batman

I agree I liked it a lot but the second half, particularly the third act felt like a let down. They really needed some better editing in that third act it was dreadfully long and drawn out. I also noticed half way through the movie I had not laughed like one time. I'm not expecting Whedon's Avengers levels of wise cracks but a one off joke here or there wouldn't hurt
  2. great signing, they are doing their best to put out a competitive team on the field
  3. I am just so, so, so happy we didn't trade away next years first or second rounder That is the biggest win. I'm nitpicking by complaining about the third rounder tbh. That being said. This pick at this point in the draft is an A+ for me. All of Corral's negatives have conceivable paths to be corrected. Whenever you have a guy who goes lower than expected or a guy like Pat Mahomes gets drafted after Mitch. It's always fun to go back and look at why they went lower than they did. Usually it's for dumb reasons. Corral's reasons aren't without merit but they are definitely things that can be improved. 1- He's lanky and needs to fill out his frame. Great his job is now to eat, sleep, workout, and play football. 2- He played in a pro style offense. Ok this isn't a problem intrinsic to him, he may flourish in a pro style offense. 3- He has off the field issues. It seems like he is candid about his problems and has tried to address them. To me that actually shows maturity. No one is perfect, it's how you pick yourself up after that defines you. Is Corral a sure thing? Hell no. Is he worth a swing at pick 94. fug yea and we got him without giving up too much. This has been an A+ draft.
  4. Disclaimer most of these dudes likely will be gone by our next pick, nonethless Jamaree Salyer Guard/Tackle UGA Tariq Woolen CB UTSA Marquis Hayes OG Oklahoma Josh Williams CB Fayetteville st. Christopher Allen Edge Bama Lecticus Smith G/C VT Zach Tom C WFU Justyn Ross WR Clemson
  5. that's a very fair counterpoint and one I admit makes a lot of sense
  6. wow this guy is a fuging genius
  7. People on twitter actually want us to give up our first next year for Malik. I'm a huge Malik guy. Malik will not be good next year, he's a multi year project It is still VERY possible the Panthers have a top ten pick next year PLEASE GOD DO NOT TRADE OUR FIRST ROUND PICK NEXT YEAR
  8. You...I like you. Most of the Huddle/Panthers subreddit/Panthers twitter is begging for us to trade our second rounder this year (Narrator voice the Panthers haven't had a 2022 second rounder for over a year) to trade for Baker/jimmy G
  9. best pick we could have made. Easily could have been the number one overall pick in this draft and we got him at 6
  10. My last one this year and my favorite thus far:
  11. I think this is a classic "grass isn't always greener" move. Did JB have his issues? Of course. But he was a young couch and the teams seemed to be improving every year. I would have liked to see what he would have done with a legit center. That being said his refusal to play young guys was frustrating.

great movie, third act needed some serious editing to make it a tighter story but other than that I loved it
  13. NO fuging WAY This team very well could in contention for the #1 overall pick next year with a shot at a legit franchise QB
  14. I'm now all in one taking one of the big three OTs. I'd also be ok with a trade down but I'd want a haul (future first) which I don't see happening. I think the only way I'd be cool with a QB is in a trade down scenario.
  15. Probably they value Kavon or Walker higher than Cross
  16. yea I'm on like book ...6? I think. Already can tell they took some real liberal interpretations of the books. Same story very different telling of it so far.
  17. Browns have literally zero leverage with Baker. zero. He's coming off a pretty major injury and a pretty terrible year. They obviously don't need him on the team and he's clearly unhappy. His contract stinks. Why would anyone trade for him? The only way someone trades for him is if Cleveland agrees to eat his whole salary and it's for minimal draft compensation. Otherwise just wait till they're forced to cut him.
  18. The only hope I can see is that no one feels particularly strongly about the top players to trade up, but I do think the Giants would take Ickey regardless
  19. this is interesting I had not previously heard this, where did you read/hear this?
  20. great post as always OP. I completely agree with everything I've read/heard reported. The last couple of days I've convinced myself that the Panthers are kind of screwed in terms of a trade down. Why? Exactly as you alluded to NYG at #5 are prime trade down candidates Anyone who wants a LT can easily jump up to that spot and take one before us and the Giants won't lose hardly any capital as they already have the #7 pick as well. Must be nice to have two top ten picks. The way I see the draft going right now: 1 Jax- Hutchinson 2 Det- Walker 3 Hou- Neal 4 NYJ- Gardner 5 NYG- Ickey 6- Cross The real key in all of this is that the Jets take a defensive player, doesn't matter who but if they take Ickey I think the Giants take Cross then the Panthers are really fuged.
