I don't think he broke it, obviously impossible to tell without x-rays but they listed him as questionable to return. If he had broken it he would have been ruled out

right it is but the chances of hitting on a consistent Pro Bowl QB is much higher when you take that player in the first round

We just traded away the only RB in the NFL I'd be comfortable giving a longterm deal too. RBs are not hard to find and the difference between a below average to even an above average one is minimal. There are a few elite talents but even they fall off after a few years

I think its very fair to say that in order to be a successful QB in the modern NFL you have to be able to create out of structure. You don't need to be Cam Newton but you have to be mobile enough to create passing lanes. Brady is the only good QB I can think of that somewhat defies this but his pocket prescence is great. that's what concerns me about stroud (and I'm a fan). he doesn't seem to do well when things break down

you dont tank for a specific player unless its Andrew Luck. You tank to get better value in the draft
