  1. I d love to draft the Notre Dame back, Tenn Back or Ray davis in the fifth round. Unlikely they will be there but we have so many other crucial needs right now we can't spend a 2,3, or 4th on RB
  2. we basically gave up nothing for him and haven't done anything stupid like signing him to an extension before watching him play (cough sam darnold cough). It was an excellent move to improve our WR room considering our limited resources and a poor pool of FA options
  3. good thread. I think Clowney is still our best option but even he scares me. He has been highly inconsistent throughout his career and I fear being on the best defense in the league last year benefited him/made him look great. While being on our defense next year he will be pedestrian. Either way edge is now fuged with trading Burns. We basically have to hope an insane edge rusher is available in the draft next year when we are picking ~ top 3.
  4. Trying to do ones that are mostly realistic. I realize some of these won't happen but I really like both of these. Didn't do any unrealistic trades either
  5. Stroud is going to be a top 5 QB he is worth it. I promise you
  6. I 100% think we are targeting him at 33 or 39 We do not have an X WR in this offense, I think they like his physical build and production and believe he is an ascending player. I don't hate the idea but I do hate locking into one guy predraft. You can have your guys, but if a top talent falls you can't pass on that to draft him
  7. In all seriousness even with a great draft I see us going: 1-5 in the division. We steal one game against the Saints. We lose two to the Falcons, nearly beat the Bucs once. Lose at home to Giants, cowboys, chiefs, cardinals and bengals; we beat the chargers On the road we beat denver, and lose the rest 3-14
  8. and we will miss out on a generation edge prospect by like two picks
  9. I really see us coming away with frazier and either leggette or keon coleman in round two a guy I'm looking at in round 3 is marshawn kneeland
  10. pretty rickey was right again That being said this always seemed the most likely outcome, Jets are all in this year and if Rodgers is fully healthy and playing even close to his normal level they will be a very, very good team
  11. Do you grade movies 10 minutes into the movie as well
  12. I think this is sneakily our best signing. BC if Ickey doesn't work out our offensive line is once again completely fuged even with the new guards. this guy will at least give us average level starting ability (aka what Cam Newton basically prayed for every year of his career with us after Gross retired)
  13. really don't think you can grade it yet because you have no idea how this is going to look as a finished product. But for Vision and sticking to a plan I give them a B+. It's very clear we went into this offseason needing to upgrade the offensive line and talent around Bryce. Thus far we have done both and I highly suspect another WR is on the way in the draft
  14. oh if reddick gets cut sign him immediately. He was our best defensive player a few years ago.
  15. I don't know whether its secondary to injuries or effort but Chase Young should be better than he is. With us signing Wonnum we already have our young upside swing guy, I actually prefer Clowney as an established vet on the other side
  16. I would like to add a center through the draft at some point, and I believe they will target Zach Frazier with either pick 33 or 39
  17. Further if a really good team trades their first next year and they make it to the final four you really only gain a draft position of a couple spots, not really worth it imo
  18. teams are really really hesitant to trade a first round pick. It's much more likely someone tries to leap frog up from ~ pick 40 which would likely net us an extra fourth rounder I am all for trading down however if there isn't a sure fire prospect there
  19. we lose bc we *probably* picked the wrong guy. But if we had taken stroud that trade would have been an easy W for us.
  20. fair enough then play Johnson at Y, Mingo at z (gulp) and Thielen as a TE
  21. Here's my thing, if Caleb Williams does not work out the Bears by definition lost the trade because they could have just taken CJ Stroud
  22. pretty ricky on twitter is saying it's between us and the Jets. Would love this signing on a short term incentive based deal He can be our X, Dionte can be the Z and Thielen can be the y Would still allow us to develop Mingo and draft a young guy with no pressure to contribute immediately
  23. Patrick Queen *Sucked* before Roquan got to Baltimore. This feels like a classic free agency bust signing. People just remember him for being a first round pick.
  24. He will likely look better this year just by default of playing with better talent around him, whether or not he ends up being a franchise LT remains to be seen. I have my doubts but god I would love to be wrong
