  1. Panthers finish the game the way they want to - by losing Thanks Tepper
  2. watching Caleb williams make throws that Bryce will never make is probably the most depressing point of my Panthers fandom ever. Thanks David Tepper
  3. equipment manager got that dawg in him
  4. But that's EXACTLY what is so frustrating about David Tepper, he has blown up a relatively very successful young franchise The talent drain on this team since he took over is insane
  5. I'm more of a Panthers fan that I enjoy being right. Therefore I root for Bryce
  6. I pretty much got kicked out of the Panthers reddit when back in the day I said the Panthers should not have given two massive contracts to RBs and that fuged our salary cap.
  7. hey Panther account would you mind thanking David Tepper for not taking two first round picks for Brian Burns, trading away CMC for peanuts and then for giving away the opportunity to draft Caleb Williams, trading DJ Moore oh and I forgot taking Young over Stroud, pretty much tanking us into oblivion and making us the worst team in the league by a good margin? Thanks. I always wanted to be the Browns of the 00s and 10s
  8. Still feel this way but I will admit ....I have a growing suspicion that both LT and QB will also be on the radar for us as well Not going to make a new thread to start this convo but if you look at the the top 7 QBs taken over the last two years: Bryce, Stroud, Richardson Williams, Daniels, Maye and JJ (not including Penix bc wtf ATL) It's very realistic Bryce is 7/7 at the bottom of that list
  9. WTF is going on with the board right now, we've been hacked boys
  10. this is exactly what I was going to post I realize this is an overreaction to preseason game 1. But if you could blur out the players last night and just showed me the game film, I would have told you this looks like a game from last season. Getting very very bad vibes from this team.
  11. The only thing I know for certain is that Houston would have taken him number one overall had Davis Mills not won on a miracle TD throw. Would have saved us from ourselves
  12. I think what most of this boils down to is the following: when people scouted Bryce they saw a very high floor prospect secondary to his intelligence, diligence and character. They saw flashes of elite escapability and playmaking. What people didnt realize is the following Due to his lack of arm strength in size Bryce actually has a very narrow path to success in the league. Not because of his height but his escapability has not been the same as it was in college against better players. Further he doesn't have elite arm talent to rip throws to mitigate this. (see Matthew Stafford- not an escape artist but can make any throw on the field) So what we were sold is someone who has a very high floor with potential to be elite, when in reality Bryce looks more like a QB that unless everything else is good around him: WR talent, play calling and protection; he struggles to elevate talent around him. I'm not saying Bryce won't have a decent career. I think Jared Goff is the best possible outcome for him though.
  13. this made me lol
  14. I believe you but would love to hear more about this
  15. Wouldn't do it for a first but pretty much anything other than that within reason I would. Aiyuk is a special WR. If Bryce pans out wonderful. If he doesn't you want to give the next guy weapons. This league has turned into an offense- pass driven league. If you can't put up points and yards in the passing game you aren't winning a superbowl
  16. I'm not a Tepper fan but after we botched the Burns trade to the Rams I'm not surprised Tepper wanted to know about any trades before hitting the send button
  17. with offenses going lighter at skill positions Chinn is actually a perfect modern day linebacker. I still have no idea why they didn't move him back after he showed he was struggling as a defensive back
  18. I think we can agree that one of the main reasons this team is so bad is because our drafts have been consistently awful for what seems like 5 years now. Fitterer definitely played a role in that
