  1. didn't think we would look overall worse than last year but we do
  2. Whos Jalen Dalton When your long snapper (38-year-old JJ Jansen), backup quarterback (36-year-old Jalen Dalton), and punter (34-year-old Johnny Hekker) are three of your four oldest dudes, that's OK
  3. ^^^^^ Absolutely remarkable how little talent this team has to have a salary cap this fuged
  4. one thing that stands out to me is if that he gets a free release he could be a legit deep deep threat
  5. Not giving up on a guy who we knew was going to take a second to develop and missed a good portion of his rookie offseason with injury
  6. need to see Bryce hit more throws like this one he misses here this year No suprise but he has pressure in his face so it makes it difficult but great QBs make this even with pressure
  7. DJ, Thielen, Mingo, XL are locks I think Marshall has earned a spot if we can't trade him That leaves ISM, David Moore and Jalen Coker competing for the last spot ISM provides PR/KR upside, David Moore is a veteran w/ some of that, and Coker needs time but could be a diamond in the rough. Ideally I'd keep 7 with ISM and Coker but even more ideal would getting Coker stashed on our PS
  8. There's no sense in cutting him if you aren't keeping someone that can contribute. This team is not overflowing with talent yall. Thomas can still be a good run blocking TE
  9. I think a very reasonable conspirary theory is that when Frank was hired his pitch was trade up to #2 overall and get Stroud as it was highly speculated Houston was trading up to #1 for Bryce. When Fitterer pulled the trigger to go to one everything changed.
  10. This is not sarcasm, but do you have inside sources? I can imagine just from what I've read heard that things were BAD behind closed doors last year; product on the field is evidence alone
  11. As much as I don't like Tepper, I don't think anyone needed to convince him Reich was a terrible fit here
  12. I actually feel the opposite about our draft class this year. It looks like all four of our first picks will contribute to the team. That's WAAAAAY better than what we've done in almost ten years
  13. yes but then we (the worst team in the league) are competing for the services of an established veteran corner which 85% of the teams in the league could use
  14. This is a home run trade. Getting a contributing piece to a team for a 7th rounder is good business. ESPECIALLY considering according to Mike Kaye Barrett was likely going to get cut
  15. used to watch marvel stuff religiously but now I just wait for it to come to disney plus and even then it's a maybe for me. The quality has just dropped so hard after endgame. Rushed products to meet yearly deadlines. I almost think they just need to reset the entire universe and start with fantastic four and x men.
  16. great game but there are some very frustrating things with dynasty a.) not being able to level up your coach after level 50 is insansity b.) not being able to change players numbers is crazy c.) recruiting so far has been a huge crapshoot for me (maybe that's actually realistic) but it feels very random if a player will just randomly pick another team over me when I've been in the lead the entire time. That's fine if it happens occasionally but it seems like it happens quite often with five star prospects d.) defense is hard, not saying thats a bad thing but I almost exclusively play offense only now, just more enjoyable
  17. could not agree with you more; please note David that the last stage involves: exploring options, new plan in place, moving on You will lose your fans if you keep destroying this team. Not everyone will put up with years of incompetence. Hell the majority of average fans I know no longer watch the Panthers at all, it's only us lunatics on this board that keep coming back. But that won't last forever
  18. I pray David Tepper is reading this thread. This is what he has done to this franchise. It's worse than anger, it's apathy.
  19. The problem with trading Jaycee at this point is you would be selling way too low on an asset. No one is going to give us the compensation he is worth (1st round pick + something else) and I don't blame them. He's close to finishing up his rookie contract and hasn't stayed healthy. From a Panthers standpoint it would immediately vault us into the worst CB room in the league and I truly think Jaycee can be a dominant CB in this league. Unless someone blows us away with a godfather offer I wouldn't do it.
  20. I actually saw a few things on offense tonight that were more promising than anything we did last year, obviously still very vanilla
