  1. What you wrote had zero to do with wins and losses. Your first sentence was pure hero worship for Tepper with nothing to back it up except the man's financial worth. Jordan's Hornets has also been trending up the last three years whereas Tepper's Panthers are trending down. Both parts of that statement only address George Shinn. Got it? Way too early to assess Tepper's ownership... Jordan has a 15-year track record of complete ineptitude. That said, what Mitch Kupchak is doing with one hand tied behind his back is somewhat impressive.
  2. I think you misunderstood what I was saying... ...George Shinn is far and away the most successful... ...assumes you see wins & losses as the proper measuring stick. Mike Jordan challenges James Dolan for worst owner in pro sports LOL.
  3. I've always maintained the odds of Tepper ever moving the team are exactly 0.00%... ...but you have a point here and bringing Mr. Whip-It-Out on-board could start a cascade of events leading to the departure of the team. It would be an extreme outcome but when assessing "worst case" scenarios most folks are never able to assess what's truly entailed in the "worst case"...
  4. While he is far and away the most successful owner in Charlotte pro-sports history... ...George Shinn is the most reviled by a long-shot. If Tepper were to make/allow this acquisition he'd be squarely in the middle of a path leading straight to Shinnville. Charlotte pro sports ticket-holders have proven they will turn on and completely abandon the local darling -- Hornets went from perennial NBA attendance leaders to literally playing in front of an empty arena... ...life has an eerie way of repeating itself.
  5. I'm afraid it's the latter. 7 TD, 8 INT, 77.5 RTG, 41.7 QBR, 21 sacks >> for Sam. 13 TD, 3 INT, 102.4 RTG, 62.3 QBR, 11 sacks... ...any guesses on the 2nd line?
  6. Here's a fair question: who acquired said players? Who: - traded for Darnold - ignored the offense for an entire draft - skipped picking any OL in multiple rounds this year - extended Robby Anderson to a big deal - kept his college QB as the backup because he was his college QB - advocated for signing two of the league's worst OL to hilarious deals early in free agency Make no mistake about it... ...Matt Rhule is the GM of your Carolina Panthers. I hope he eventually gets it right, and I think he will.
  7. That won't be a problem. Most folks don't really comprehend how big a number $1 BILLION really is... To put it in perspective >> if you are sitting across the table from benefactor who had been handing you $1 each and every second 24-hours per day, AND just handed you your $1 billionth dollar... ...you'd have been sitting there since 1989. Again, that's every second 24 hours per day...Tepper's worth $12-14 billion depending on the source.
  8. Would Mr. Whip-It-Out approve a trade to Charlotte? He does have a no-trade clause after all...
  9. McClain in Houston "believed" he would be traded by Friday last week...
  10. I challenge you to turn to the person next to you make a $1,000 > $1 bet on Deshaun playing next year...
  11. Harvey Weinstein is serving a long stretch of hard time due to a convictions for which there was no physical evidence whatsoever for incidents that were years in the past -- simply she said vs. he said.
  12. What kind of name is "Shi"...? Don't the Bobcats have a player of the same name?
  13. Nobody is in the mix. These rumors are coming from Mr. Whip-It-Out's agent, one David Mulugheta... ...he's just trying to stir the pot and get the media discussion going again. How many times is this now? (Note: McClain no longer has any legit Texans sources.)
  14. 22 seems to be the number I remember for accusers of Mr. Whip-It-Out ...what are the specific counts on licensed vs. un-licensed?
