  1. He doesn't have the money...not to mention he has a very sketchy background which would never pass muster in this day & age. Give up on that one...
  2. I like it -- it's the only means for getting the attention of ownership of teams like this. The Big Cat needed a healthy dose of this medicine during his tenure as an owner, but PSL owners just would not drop-out of the program no matter how bad things got. Do you plan to keep your PSL's?
  3. Big-time 2H performance tonight by JF... ...extremely impressive.
  4. This is nothing new... ...why did you get involved with and support such a shite organization in the first place?
  5. I don't think he will but there is certainly plenty of precedent for canning a coach after 2-years or less... If Tepper thinks it is the right move the buyout won't be an impediment in any way -- simply loose change in the car seat on a relative basis for him.
  6. So this is an every 10-years type of thing and it's nothing to worry about? Lotsa people seem very upset about the in-stadium presence of opposing fans + lack of Panthers fans and are 100% certain it's "never been like this before"... ...so you're saying that take is off-base? Suits me.
  7. This franchise has done plenty of losing yet maintained fan support... ...has to be something else.
  8. Did he have any thoughts/ideas on why this was taking place? Why things are purportedly so different from before?
  9. Some of it might be self-inflicted. Tepper/Panthers took some socio-political stances that were in direct conflict with the beliefs of a wide swath of the Panthers bible-belt rooted fan base... (and I'm NOT referencing any specific political candidate one way or another...but rather certain "social movement" type issues)
  10. What if it's a big game like Dallas and the ticket goes for double face value? Do the economics change?
  11. I saw and heard that!! That said, it was an amazing play/catch...
  12. If they had sold how much of the money would you have kept? Do they disclose how much goes to the Team and TM?
  13. Not when they are selling their tickets which are ending up in the hands of opposing fans. Isn’t that the issue we are having here? It's an "issue" for you and a few others... ...but certainly not something ownership is going to react to. Think about it from an ownership perspective: > Get the PSL money, check. >> Get the season-ticket money, check. >>> Get a commission on the new on-line-only resale/scalping system, check. >>>> Get the game-day concession revenues etc from whoever uses the ticket, check. Rinse & repeat... ...no way ownership upsets that model just to keep some opposing jerseys out of the seats.
  14. Gotcha... ...but there's nothing "hostile" about that. The Appaloosa Model hinges on performance & accountability -- if those 2 conditions make a person uncomfortable they should seek employment elsewhere from the Panthers.
  15. PSL holders are spending their hard-earned money on the PSL... ...the incremental game-day spend hinges on a combination of the opponent and generally how the team is faring on the season. This is normal. This is also an incredibly attractive/effective model from an ownership perspective.
  16. Oh yeah I understand that... ...but there seems to be some sort of implied premise that Tepper has created a hostile work environment?
  17. Interesting. What happened to the guy with 471,374 posts that knew all the "insiders"? Would be interesting to know what the "insiders" are now saying...
  18. Hostile work environment? How do you figure?
  19. By all means, please continue to completely miss and/or willfully ignore the point. The numbers speak for themselves...
  20. Sam: 7 TD, 8 INT, 60.8 CMP%, 1,814 YDS, 21 SCK, 76.8 RTG, 36.0 QBR TB5: 13 TD, 5 INT, 70.4 CMP%, 1,914 YDS, 22 SCK, 100.6 RTG, 50.7 QBR "...just "sling it" baby..."
  21. This is interesting. I lived up north for a long time and frankly was always very impressed with how civilized the experience was in Panthers stadium when I happened to attend a game during the holidays -- it was very noticeable, much different than other places. Of particular note was the policy whereby one could text the section/seat for a person who was out of line and security would be on it right away, I mean right on it...had never seen this before (circa 2008 maybe?)...is this practice ongoing? What was their response? Unfortunately the fan behavior inside Panthers stadium seem to be mirroring that of the broader society outside of it...
