  1. By definition the VAST majority of positive+ results are among vaxx'd players, and this is to be expected. Virtually all active NBA players are vaxx'd and they are at the point of cancelling games (Bulls) and have come close to cancelling others (Bobcats). Given that NFL "covid-protocols" create a much safer routine for unvaxx'd players -- combined with the high % of vaxx'd players overall & their extremely loose protocols -- it was perfectly obvious to anyone paying attention that the incidence of +covid+ infections in vaxx'd players would absolutely dwarf those of unvaxx'd players... ...and that's exactly how it's working out. (has there been a single incidence of an NFL or NBA player not recovering fully?)
  2. Same rules Whiny Aaron Rodgers was subject to?
  3. Complete BS statement. There are 2 sets of "rules/protocol" --- one for vaxx'd and the other for unvaxx'd... ...don't know if he was vaxx'd or not, do you?
  4. Matt Rhule constantly passing the buck. ...otherwise referred to as "coaching".
  5. Whoah now Based on "insider" reports you have consistently maintained that Mr. Tepper was not involved in "football decisions" and left those exclusively to his "football people"... ...are you now saying your "insiders" had it wrong?
  6. But do have to wonder why a "traditional GM" would accept the job under those circumstances... ...desperate?
  7. He's 100% healthy now. No QB on the roster has played at as high a level as Silver Platter Sam this season... ...roll his ass back out there this coming week!
  8. Damn he trucked that guy! Hey, does anyone know if earplugs can be purchased inside the stadium? Asking for a friend...
  9. Does anyone know if earplugs are available for sale in the stadium? Just trying to help out a friend at the game who is with her 2 young boys and another friend and the tix they bought are in a section where the sound level is intolerable.
  10. Jets too... ...hmm Check this out: https://nypost.com/2021/0/08/matt-rhule-considered-jets-head-coaching-job/
  11. Casting your lot with The Disturber is absolutely hilarious
  12. Which search firm sis the Texans 6 and who were their recommendations? Did any of the candidates meet with Mr. Whip-It-Out's approval?
  13. Woah, woah WHOA!!! You have CONSISTENTLY maintained that Mr. Tepper leaves all the decisions to the "football people"... ...come on man!!
  14. So says the 452,671 posts peering in on Al Gore's internets guy about the guy who started out with $0 and has banked a $gazillion$ and now owns an NFL team free-and-clear... ...
  15. Listen to the video/audio in the link above.... ...demonstrates that Art Rooney is in a publicly facing role impacting player ship/keep decisions -- undeniable.
  16. Yet Art Rooney commented to the media about Antonio Brown specifically and signaled he was personally involved in the situation with Brown etc: "Rooney addressed the Brown drama again and told reporters he hasn't been engaged in trade talks for Brown yet, but added that there aren't "that many signs out there" that point to A.B. returning to Pittsburgh at this time, per Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette." https://www.nfl.com/news/art-rooney-ii-nonsense-to-call-steelers-out-of-control-0ap3000001011135 "» On Brown's decision to sit out of the Week 17 game against Cincinnati, Rooney said: "I wish I could say that I talked to Antonio and understand what he was thinking," per The Athletic's Mark Kaboly. [example of Steelers owner lamenting not being directly involved as he would normally be]" "» Rooney said one of Pittsburgh's goals is to secure an extension for 36-year-old quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who has one year left on his current deal." "» Rooney would not commit to making an effort to extend coach Mike Tomlin, who has two years left on his contract. "Those are things we'll get to later in the offseason," he said, per Bouchette." "» Rooney said he's talked to Tomlin about installing an assistant for the coach to help with with challenge calls on the field, but it wouldn't be their sole role, calling it "important," per Bouchette." CONCLUSION: The suggestion that the Rooney Family is arms-length is completely laughable ... ..in fact Art Rooney is in the weeds to the point of recommending assistant coaches to help with on-field challenges!!
  17. Single selections are a bit of a small sample size. Here again, I'm not saying Tepper needs to make the decision, I'm just saying people are drawing some absolute statements from a singular decision that are never really absolute. on a side note, did Colbert make the final call on Tomlin? or Rooney?
  18. What you're describing is the business owner retaining a professional headhunter/firm for the sake of sourcing/vetting candidates. Possibly I'm mistaken but the OP is suggesting a "search committee" should be given full control over the decision with no input from Tepper... ...two completely different things. EDIT: I see you are the original poster, my bad! Your realtor analogy is a good one, maybe Tepper will employ a search firm if he replaces Rhule. I misunderstood your original premise...thought you were suggesting he should be completely removed from the process.
  19. Got it! The thought/belief that a guy like Tepper would abdicate his control position and leave the decision up to a "search committee"... ...is absurd.
