  1. Well there's always a 1st for everything... ...let's hope you are right.
  2. No worries. Only 1 QB amongst the 22 positions on the field and only 32 starters in the league...by definition it's a narrow discussion. What are you expecting this Fall?
  3. Uhhhh Robbie Anderson? Last I was aware he does not play QB...
  4. In the investment banking world that's referred to as a SWAG*. Sam is clearly a fine young man and everyone is pulling for him to do well but so far haven't seen a precedent for the bull case you are making. Definitively no cast-off Jets QB has ever lit it up at their next NFL shop... ...but let's widen range to entire league --- has there ever been a QB drafted top-3 who only failed with his initial team...was given up on and traded for a paltry round 2 pick... ...and then went on to have a great career at his very next stop? I'm sure there is but I can't think of who he might be... [*SWAG = Sophisticated Wild Ass Guess]
  5. he wouldn't have won a superbowl Jets had 46 wins in 7-years before Sam.... ...Bucs had 38 wins in 7-seasons before Tom. 20 and 17 in prior 3-seasons respectively.
  6. Just curious how/why is it different with Sam? How does one properly assess the level of "damage" a QB has absorbed at any point in time? Cheers mate...
  7. He actually had a year in San Diego and was let go there... ...then Rowboat gave threw him a life-preserver...
  8. I believe you are significantly underestimating the "extend" time... Ever heard of Eric Compton? He got his 1st heart transplant (1992) at age-12 and that one lasted him 16 years... ...he got his 2nd one in 2008 and is still motoring on with that one (29yrs elapsed on 2 hearts, FYI)... ...in case you are unaware, he's in 9th place today at the PGA Tour event in Fort Worth, TX... ...1-back of Sergio Garcia and 9-ahead of Phil Mickelson! Hell, The Big Cat is 12+ years into his new heart and he was an elderly and in poor physical condition candidate when he received the transplant... ...TJ Olsen has every chance for a bright future, especially given the connections his family has. Good luck young fella...
  9. Tepper shouldn't even be present... ...right? Any confirmation of who Fitterer reports to?
  10. A two second google shows he does not have a no trade clause.
  11. Does Julio have a "no-trade" clause in his contract like Watson does? (a useless clause for a player trying to bust out of their perceived jail...LOL)
  12. Please elaborate further... ...what are the specifics?
  13. wow... Why wasn't Robby in attendance at OTA's...??
  14. Someone pointed out to me his trolling accounts made for various internet sites as well as a few articles showing some of these trolling accounts he uses. Oh yeah he definitely has read this board. Not sure if he does often or even has ever but I suspect he has at least one time. Probably reads Denver stuff now. Completely ludicrous.
  15. Yes. And this is the 2nd time around for Sam...he's already successfully executed all of the above once in the pressure cooker that is NYC/NY/NJ...should be a no-brainer in the comparatively sleepy little CLT. In fact, what the average college graduate faces is probably more daunting in that they are on their own --- everything is already laid out on a platter for Sam when he shows up...turn-key if you will.
