  1. Joe Person said the no-trade clause wasn't an impediment for a Panthers deal. It means everything. If Mr. Whip-It-Out had the gavel he'd have been traded long ago.
  2. What would it take for you to do so? Panthers PSL's are amazingly sticky...
  3. Seems to completely contradict the info put forth by John McClain from the Houston Chronicle middle of last week... ...McClain is supposed to be the axe on info related to Mr. Whip-It-Out.
  4. Mr. Whip-It-Out isn't calling the shots, so by definition he did not "reject" the Panthers .. ...Texans ownership & management are calling the shots.
  5. This isn't Tepper's call... ...it's for the "football people" to decide.
  6. Good luck with that in the current market... ...ditto trying to pry a similarly rare commodity (Mr. W.I.O....top-5 QB in NFL & #1 QB under age-30) from the steely grip of the Houston Texans.
  7. Agreed. Joe Person said no-trade clause wasn't a factor as it goes to Panthers.
  8. I wasn't referring to the "second bit"... Goodell said: "We don't feel we have that necessary information to place him on the exempt list." Put another way, absent new information he stays off the exempt list... ...a move to Miami (or starting in Houston) wouldn't constitute "new information".
  9. Goodell seems to be saying otherwise... ...absent new "information" the "situation" stays the same.
  10. Apparently the narrative of "if told to play Mr. W.I.O. would immediately be placed on the Commissioners Exempt List" is inaccurate...
  11. Especially so given the "lifestyle" he likes to lead...
  12. Or name him the starter and force him to make a choice... ...earn your money or get suspended without pay. Easy choice there...
  13. It is a huge tax advantage for the super-wealthy... ...in fact, Appaloosa Management is headquartered on Washington Avenue in Miami Beach. I've lived in both places and much prefer Charlotte. I don't think it's the tax climate drawing Mr. W.I.O. to Miami... ...but rather the "lifestyle".
  14. I don't believe "the reporting". All of "the reporting" up until this very moment in time has been 100% wrong. Waiting for a named/direct team source to go on the public record...
  15. From the beginning I've believed and maintained the Texans shouldn't and wouldn't trade him nor do I think they've had any material negotiations whatsoever... ...all the "rumors" originate with Watson's agent (David Mulugheta) in a failed effort to stoke the fire. That said, it's possible the "Miami only" rumor is true (again from Mulugheta) and if so it's simply Mr. Whip-It-Out wanting to be traded to a "destination" vs. a team/organization... ...Mr. W.I.O. is all about the South Beach scene
  16. Tepper & Co. were never interested... ...low/no-character guys like Mr. Whip-It-Out have no place in this organization.
  17. Same guy. When will CMC be back? Maybe if he can stay on the field the rest of the season things will improve.
  18. I wasn't. Should have kept both and let them compete for the job but apparently Silver Platter Sam's fragile psyche wouldn't allow for it...
