  1. Appaloosa Org Chart: TEPPER RHULE < > FITTERER EVERYONE ELSE Collaboration is the order of the day...
  2. He did smoke him! That said, seems to me the only decent sports reporter in the CLT is Bailey... ...and even he does a bit too much sucking up to the Bobcats.
  3. He will always be available "on the cheap". The guy is a complete dumbass --- his "decision making" prowess (or lack thereof) is irreparable.
  4. Complete horsehockey...you're deluded.
  5. Very very odd preoccupation there for sure....
  6. Matt Miller joins the long line of dolts who have no understanding of the nuance involved in a "no-trade clause" and #Negotiations101... LOL.
  7. "Blue check mark" and "complete dumbass" are not mutually exclusive. Add in "former Raider player" and "former radio host" and you're rapidly gaining on "complete dumbass" status!
  8. Seems to be SOP for all CLT based reporters... ...don't ever remember anyone local ever having a scoop on Panthers or Bobcats.
  9. Did McCaffrey go on the record in support of TB5?
  10. Patriots haven't had a pick higher than 10th since Richard Seymour was drafted #6 in 2001.... ...only modern era picks higher than that were McGinest at #4 in 1994 and Bledsoe at #1 in 1993 -- and they blew him out for the #199 pick in the 6th round! I am certain the Appaloosa Model has captured all of this, prepare yourselves to be freaked out about how the Panthers treat draft picks going forward...
  11. Sure sounds like JJ was speaking directly to Deshaun in media session after the last game: "The Texans had one final real chance, with less than two minutes remaining, that ended when Watson was sacked and fumbled the ball to the Bengals. Texans defensive end J.J. Watt’s frustrations from a bad season boiled over during his postgame press conference Sunday. Watt called out his teammates, demanding more dedication. “If you can’t come in and put in work in the building, go out to the practice field and work hard, do your lifts and do what you’re supposed to do, you should not be here. This is a job. We are getting paid a whole lot of money,” Watt said during a nearly two-minute monologue to close out his media availability." https://www.kxan.com/sports/j-j-watt-voices-frustration-calls-out-texans-teammates-after-another-loss/
  12. Exactly. Luke fulfilled the terms of his contract to the best of his ability and only because of extenuating circumstances was he not able to fully play out his deal. Furthermore, he has continued to be an asset to the organization going forward --- giving Luke the benefit of the doubt was a no-brainer. Meanwhile due to the Texan's generosity, in 1-year Deshaun earned almost 50% of what Luke earned in his entire career and all DW has done whine like a little bitch. I sincerely hope Caserio plays hard-ball with the whiner and makes him own up to the full-terms of the contract he so willingly signed.
  13. Great points you make. Jourdan Rodrigue went on 730-CLT today to explain the Rams strategy and how they place very little value on bottom-tercile 1st round picks vs. established players who can be acquired/traded for... ...very intriguing and made a lot of sense. Kind of sheds a bit of light on the "value" Tepper & Co are placing on the #8 pick... ...namely a lot less than the rank-and-file huddle denizens who are shocked that Tepper & Co would offer it up for Stafford.
  14. I'm still unclear on who is reporting to whom? Seems like there's a school of thought that Fitterer reports to Rhule and simply goes out and executes on whatever strategic call Rhule makes... ...hence, Fitterer was simply making the phone call to deliver the info/package to the Lions which Rhule had deemed to be strategically proper and of appropriate value... ...is this the case?
  15. He's started 16-of-16 games 9 of the last 10 years. Prior to suffering fractures in his thoracic spine mid-season 2019 he had started 136 consecutive games which at the time was the 2nd longest streak in the NFL. Sounds more like an Iron Man...
  16. Nobody is saying a trade will never happen but this notion that DW has all the leverage and there's zero chance the Texans call his bluff is ill-informed & short-sighted... ...perfect description of your good buddy Stan Norfleet!
