It's been previously reported that he'd be willing to waive the no-trade clause. A no-trade clause is of little value to a player that wants to leave under almost any circumstances. Seems the factual part of Peter King's article from yesterday is pretty much being ignored: "Over the weekend, two common themes emerged about Houston’s near future. One: The Texans have one untouchable player, Watson, as of now. Two: Houston is not only not interested in trading Watson but also not interested in listening to offers for him. I’m just saying some NFL players beat kids and seem to get a pass (looking at you, Adrian Peterson and Tyreek). All he was doing was talking smack back to the kid, man. Just a ‘league source’. Might not be the Texans themselves. Could also be the Texans trying to save face because they know he is gone.
