Recap: 1. Texans contract w/ DW is ironclad, he's locked up thru 2025. 2. There is no scenario where Texans are better off without DW vs. with him. 3. Texans have no obligation to trade DW. 4. Texans won't trade DW. 5. DW does not have the stones to walk from $146,540,000. The End. -

Texans have 6 division titles in previous 10-seasons -- Panthers have 3. Texans have 7 winning records in last 10-seasons -- Panthers have 3. Panthers have 7 losing records in last 10-seasons -- Texans have 3. Texans made 6-playoff appearances in last 10-seasons -- Panthers with 4 including one where they fluked in with a losing record. FYI. -

So in your opinion there's a 0% chance the Texans decide to hold DW to his contract? -

Cool. At least you acknowledge there is a chance the Texans will not trade him... ...seems most folks (including a lot of credentialed local & national press) are placing 0% on it --- they do not believe it is in the set of possible outcomes. -

Exactly. And, there have been reports his is willing to drop the no-trade clause in order to facilitate his exit. Personally I believe Texans refuse all trades and require DW to honor his contract. -

This straight up is not true. The truth is somewhere between 100% and 0%... ...interested to know from you 2 what you think the chances are the Texans refuse to trade DW under any circumstances? -

Exactly how has the no-trade cause factored in with this situation? -
It's been previously reported that he'd be willing to waive the no-trade clause. A no-trade clause is of little value to a player that wants to leave under almost any circumstances. Seems the factual part of Peter King's article from yesterday is pretty much being ignored: "Over the weekend, two common themes emerged about Houston’s near future. One: The Texans have one untouchable player, Watson, as of now. Two: Houston is not only not interested in trading Watson but also not interested in listening to offers for him. At least two teams have given offers to Houston and gotten zero feedback. Like, no reaction, no “We’ll get back to you.” Nothing. I’m told he’s (Caserio) categorically opposed to trading Watson, period—either in the next nine weeks before the draft (when he’d clearly get the best deal to start the Texans’ post-Watson lives) or ever." Despite constant day-in, day-out pressure it seems clear the Texans are not going to budge.

PFT: Seahawks want three #1 as starting point for Wilson trade.

Russ arguably has 5 of his best years coming now... ...why would the Seahawks give even a moment of thought to trading him? -
You go big fella...!! (hug dem nutz)

I’m just saying some NFL players beat kids and seem to get a pass (looking at you, Adrian Peterson and Tyreek). All he was doing was talking smack back to the kid, man. He would’ve been better off not responding. But, honestly, he was being yelled at by some kids in 2018 at a camp he did when they asked him about if he told Von Miller Happy Father’s Day. He’s giving up his time to do these camps and when you get heckled by a spoiled 13 year old? It’d get on my nerves, too ^^^^^^^^ The embodiment of stupidity...

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, including you. Poor decision making is what paved Cam's way out of town...
-
Definitely not hating on him... ...for sure laughing at him...feel a bit sorry for him as well... [the behaviour certainly does confirm the basis for certain decisions made by Tepper and Rhule]
-
Speak for yourself... ...that was a pitiful display.
-
People across the country: "What a stupid, disrespectful little twit." Kid: "Man, everybody's talking about me!" "......I'm rich......" LMAO
-
Why would Cam even respond in that sort of situation? Stupid decision... ...two children in that conversation -- unfortunately one is of-age.

Just a ‘league source’. Might not be the Texans themselves. Could also be the Texans trying to save face because they know he is gone. All along there's never been a transparent source with attributable quotes... ...seems like all the chatter is nothing more than smoke signals sent up by Deshaun's camp...
