  1. Who does Matt Rhule report to?
  2. The good Lord himself and nobody else... #winner
  3. Prepare yourself to be disappointed... ...after decades of success zero chance Big Tepp scraps the Appaloosa Model for the "Seahawks way"... ...hahahaha!!!
  4. Tepper's highest and best use is teaching others about and guiding them through a proper decision making process -- great decisions are the bedrock of all great organizations. Tepper is one of the great decision makers of all time and he will be intimately involved in all decisions of consequence... ...it is the Appaloosa Way.
  5. RIP Not if he actually is smart, he won't How would you know? You believe you have better info and decision making capabilities that Mr. David A. Tepper? Nuance is completely lost on you...that's you problem
  6. Is MO a Contributory Negligence state? Or is it a Comparative Negligence state?
  7. "I know I'm nowhere near as good an evaluator as Matt (Rhule) or Scott (Fitterer) and I'm not going to try to be." - David Tepper during Scott Fitterer's introductory press conference Wise statement if he sticks to it. Key word... ..."involved"... ...and you can be sure he will be... ...it's the Appaloosa Way! [I have yet to hear or see "Fitterer" and "Watson" used in the same sentence in any media reporting on that subject --- it's almost as if Fitterer doesn't exist.]
  8. You want David tepper signing off on your open heart surgery if that time comes? Absof***inglutely.
  9. The smartest man in the room should be involved in every decision of note... ...and that's David A. Tepper.
  10. Understood and no worries. I certainly didn't say the Chiefs won't get any scrutiny, nor did I execute a series of "what-if-gymnastics" in an attempt to put them into the crosshairs (as several others did). You are spot on that it's almost a certainty that the family lawyer will find some rationale (flawed or otherwise) for attaching the Chiefs to the situation. On the subject of "what-if-gymnastics"...it does work both ways 1. What-if the car that ran out of gas wasn't completely out of the right-of-way? 2. What-if the car that ran out of gas had a low battery and its hazard-flashers weren't working properly? 3. Why-did the responding vehicle park in front? Couldn't see the out-of-gas vehicle in time to stop behind? 4. What-if the responding vehicle was also parked in the right-of-way? 5. What-if the area where the accident took place was dark and unlighted? 6. What-if the children (ages 4 and 5) in the responding vehicle were not properly restrained in federally approved child-safety-seats as required by MO/KS law? 7. What-if Reid really did only have 2 or 3 beers? Looks like he goes at least 265lbs...prob wouldn't produce much on the B.A.C. Richter Scale. 8. What-if the officer who filled out the report actually checked the "UNK" (vs. Yes, No or N/A) box in the "ALCOHOL USE" section of the official crash report? So many questions to be answered...
  11. It's unlikely the Chiefs had a bar set up in the endzone of their bubble. If he kept a cooler in the bed of his truck and he and a couple others drank 2 beers each on the tailgate in the coaches parking lot at the end of a long day technically he'd be at "the facility" but in no way would the team would be complicit. The scenario you describe there in SC, I'd be curious to see a real-life example of that...? It's going to be very interesting to see how this one plays out...
  12. If firing Easterby solves the issue they should do so. Chump change compared to what his Texans contract will pay over next 4-years. They sure do and NFL owners do not want to see their league go down the same rat-infested hole the NBA dove into... Sure it is all about the benjamins, Steve Smith said so on WFNZ just this week --- just look at JJ Watt's deal. Luke and Luck are red-herrings of the highest order, lol.
  13. I know a guy who was hit by lightning and and was touch-and-go to survive for for a week and was in a coma...when he came out of it the doctors (not the lawyer) told his parents he would have permanent brain damage --- he recovered 100% and has lived a very productive life in the 30 years since. The brain has an amazing ability to recover and adapt... ...for the sake of this young lady let's hope the medical opinion being rendered by this lawyer proves to be incorrect.
  14. It's been 29 days since the accident... ...how long does it take to turn around those sort of tests?
  15. So you think firing Easterby would be enough to get DW back in the fold? They all play the game for one primary reason, money. DW is no "different".
  16. If they want to retain their PSL's they certainly are obligated. If sucking was correlated to ticket sales with only 7-winning seasons in 26 years Panthers Stadium would have been empty, yet it wasn't. Why? PSL's and the perverse attraction fans have to holding onto them at all costs. Ditto. I hope you are correct.
  17. The Texans would get just as much for DW in a March/2022 trade as they would for a March/2021 trade -- if anything his value would probably go up... ...and in the meantime they'd secure a high 2022 pick of their own.
  18. Their season ticket holders are obligated just like those of the Panthers... ...the other thing is Texans fans want the team to do everything possible to retain DW... ...99% of the "set him free" crowd do not have the best interests of the Texans in mind. PS -- what are the expectations for NFL attendance this fall? Fully open?
  19. Key phrase in your post is "may refuse"... ...and the Texans "may refuse" to trade the player. If you think about it logically the Texans best course of action this year is to call DW's bluff and make him show his cards -- a bit of scenario analysis... Call DW's Bluff -- possible outcomes: 1. DW caves and returns to camp on time (win for Texans). 2. DW misses some time, gets fined, caves and returns (win for Texans). 3. Player sits out the entire season (neutral, Texans retain rights to DW). 2022...re-run it again. DW's trade value in 2022 will be just as much as it would be this year and if he sits out 2021 the Texans will probably stink and end up with another high draft-pick in 2022. There is no scenario where they are likely to end up with a QB of DW's calibre except the scenario where he is retained.
  20. It is certainly in the set of possible outcomes and with my luck you will probably be right!
