If anyone here has owned and still owns their PSL from day-1... ...I'd be interested to know what was paid for it vs. what the price of the same section/row is listed for on the Panthers website... ...anyone?

Panthers PSL are listed on eBay for about 50% of the price on the team website. Tepper has certainly made some decisions which probably don't sit well with luxury box and PSL holders --- as things get back to normal will be interesting to see how many decline to renew.

Without PSL's there would be no PSL owners. Yeah that was Jer' and Max. Jer' wasn't "designated" per se, I could have chosen better wording...he was the managing partner and only owner with > 30% so by definition assumes the control position. Locals didn't "finance the team"...Jer' and his partners stepped up and wrote checks for $140M. Jer' did see it as a business first, that's true. Tepper is more along the lines of Mark Cuban where it's more like an expensive hobby...that's a good thing.

Charlotte getting an NFL team was not a formality and having the right person at the helm to lead the effort cannot be underestimated --- George Shinn filled the same role in bringing the Hornets to the CLT. Luck is the byproduct of hard work. Jer' earned his position as the designated owner...his partners were the ones who got lucky! I've was never a fan of Jer' and got a big kick out of it when the PSL owners took out the full-page ad in The Disturber but there is nothing "unfortunate" about the Panthers or Jer's involvement as it goes to NC and SC.

That won't happen. If the player isn't traded by the conclusion of round-1 of the draft he will either play for the Texans, or sit out the year. 51-days to go...

Gotcha, good logic. That said, this time next year the conditions will be the same as now except other teams will know what they offered in 2021 didn't get the Texans to move on from DW and will likely have to offer more if they are truly interested. If the Texans don't trade before the draft it would seem to be a pretty clear signal they intend to go to the mat in this situation and see it through...either DW shows up and plays or this show gets repeated in 2022.

I've seen nothing to indicate the Texans are motivated to do anything "NOW"...what are you basing this opinion on? Why would Watson's "stock" go down? What's the logic? I figure even if he sits an entire year his trade value will be just as high if not higher this same time next year.
