Who all is familiar with the Costanza Principle?

Are the Panthers the only team who might be willing to trade up? Who's the competition?

Texans planned to trade Watson before lawsuits

The juxtaposition is outrageous.... -
Texans planned to trade Watson before lawsuits

"While this is just speculation on our part, one statement can be made with relative certainty: Watson is out." Now that is funny! Talk about a "statement" full of caveats and holes and outs... -
I mean I know you aren’t from Texas so you don’t know about this guy but he literally deep faked the mayor of Houston I know all about him. Politics is a dirty business...enter that ring and no punches are pulled. Mayor whined like a bitch and nothing ever came of it. That situation is not relevant and frankly it's really laughable! Folks may not like him but Buzbee is the real deal.

Both those scenarios seem to presume Fitterer is Rhule's boss. Fitterer would be a direct report to Tepper...and Rhule would be a direct report to Fitterer. [Tepper > Fitterer > Rhule] This what you're thinking? It would be nice to know.
-
Buzbee would confirm that before putting it in writing.
-
So who, exactly, was signing those checks that Hurney was cashing the last 2 years? Stumpy nailed it. Hurney wasn't in charge of anything under either owner!
-
If there's one thing you can count on it's Tepper doing it his way... ...archaic NFL traditions will have zero effect on Tepp.
-
Seems logical. Would be akin to Belichick with Patriots where he's the GM & HC...and the recently departed Nick Caserio who was Director of Player Personnel. While non-traditional, it sure worked well.
-
That's taking it a bit far. That's what the trial(s) determine. Agreed.

In my opinion due process and the presumption of innocence are inextricably linked... ...you are entitled to think otherwise, America is a free country after all.
-
Balance and accountability are very unpopular concepts with many folks --- I believe strongly in both. [not to mention there are 2 or 3 guys who follow me around and ding every post I make -- it's easy to figure out who they are]

@LinvilleGorge, if he spams the Appaloosa stuff one more time, I'd say you have just cause. We have yet to establish who Fitterer reports to... ...seems like it would be important to know. Do you know? Seems like there are 3 options: 1. Tepper >> Fitterer >> Rhule 2. Tepper >> Rhule >> Fitterer 3. Rhule <> Tepper <> Fitterer Which do you believe to be the case?
-
He's actually not because this is a civil complaint, not criminal. He's still entitled to due process and the presumption of innocence. The standards of proof are lower because it's civil in nature but his constitutional rights remain intact.
-
They both report to Tepper. I concur. That said, do either Rhule or Fitterer report to the other? In the traditional NFL model the chain of command is Owner > GM > Coach... ...do you believe it's something different with the Panthers?
-
Who reports to whom?
-
Like all citizens of the great United States of America... ...Deshaun Watson is entitled to the presumption of innocence. That said, the knife that is the legal-process cuts both ways...
-
This is a VERY important point you raise there. If the early cases filed (3 or 4) are indicative of the trend within the larger pool of 24... ...you will be wrong. That said, you might be right. This website/article links to a number of the actual complaints in pdf form. Through that site, 8 of the actual complaints are accessible on Al Gore's internets... The pdf's/complaints are generally short, about 8-pages each. Of the 8 practitioners, 6 are licensed, and 2 are not. You're prediction was 75% or more of the complaints would be from unlicensed practitioners... ...the reality of it is 75% of the filed cases ARE by licensed practitioners. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, pal...

Who do you think will be the Panthers 2021 starting QB?

Teddy starts. -
I’m talking about rich people getting accused of sexual assault by a large number of victims, see Matt Lowery, Bill O’Reily, Harvey Weinstein. Again he will get a chance to defend himself, but it doesn’t look good... DW meets the criteria... ...rich, and a man.
